Who said there was no risk?  Of course there is.....   Now you’re just making up stuff.

You did in the article you posted which I started responding to.

"This increases the financial risk, but not the product risk."

And again he denies the fact that mRNA vaccines have been developed for many years.

Don't twist my words. There hasn't been mRNA vaccine this is the first released to the public that I know of.

It doesn't increase the product risk, the product risk remains the same, which is obviously not zero.

You do understand that the research into this type of vaccine has been going on for many years, right?  You don't honestly think they started this 6 months ago, do you?

And I'm saying when you rush a product it absolutely  100% increases product risk. Too say otherwise is foolish.  Hell even my kid knows if she rushes her homework she increases the risk of making a mistake.

You are honestly going to sit there and say it doesn't?

mRNA Vaccines Are New, But Not Unknown

There are currently no licensed mRNA vaccines in the United States. However, researchers have been studying and working with them for decades. Interest has grown in these vaccines because they can be developed in a laboratory using readily available materials. This means the process can be standardized and scaled up, making vaccine development faster than traditional methods of making vaccines.

mRNA vaccines have been studied before for flu, Zika, rabies, and cytomegalovirus (CMV). As soon as the necessary information about the virus that causes COVID-19 was available, scientists began designing the mRNA instructions for cells to build the unique spike protein into an mRNA vaccine.

This is the first vaccine for this type of virus. It will be hard to verify that it’s doing anything really. You could give the public sugar pills calling it a magic vaccine and you would get thousands of stories of success. I’d have been happier hearing they have a treatment that is better. I got strep throat as a kid, doc shot me with penicillin and I was better in a day, that’s the kind of thing I was hoping for here. Since 99% of people get over it like a common cold it will be hard to see tangible results.

Of course, if they rushed the research and made a bad vaccine, yes it would be risky.  But that's not what happened.

Let me make this simple for you.  Research was done, let's assume that they took their time with the research, which is a fair assume.  So now you have a vaccine, right?  Now you gotta test it, so get a bunch of people and give it to them and see what happens.  At the same time, they said fock it, let's make a whole bunch of this crap, and if we works, then we're golden.  If not, we just flush it.  That is the "rushed" part.

So they did the trial, and after 2 months of trial, determined that it didn't kill a bunch of people, so now you got the vaccine ready to go.

Your only argument is that 2 months is not long enough to wait, maybe you want to see 6 months, or a year, well these people are still monitored.  The trials continue, but since this is such a huge public crisis, we're taking the chance that it's good.

So what is the correct time to wait?  Well given history, if we waited 10 years for previous vaccines, we'd have alot more deaths.

So in the end, who cares, don't get it, but no reason to tell others that they are dumb for getting it.

There is always risk, that sentence was inferring no more additional risk than any other new vaccine that goes though clinical trial rigor.

Dont get me wrong, I have reservations myself because it’s new, but it will months before it’s available to people who are generally healthy and under 60.

At the end of the day even if ONLY the elderly, those with pre-existing conditions and healthcare workers get it, deaths will plummet.

The problem with that is the Chinavirus will still be around......but less deadly.

If we want to eradicate it, think polio, then it’s a true group effort.

Love or hate him, Donald Trump should get a ton of credit for Operation Warp Speed, along with all the people involved.  So should America, all hands on deck.  We have invested a lot of taxpayers monies into getting this to market as soon as possible....around the world.  So if you hear Canada or Africa or India or France complaining....a big F.U. is in order.  Just say thanks and move along.  The U.S. led the way with funding and working with the private sector.  'Merica Fock Yeah.

Here is a quick fact sheet on Operation Warp Speed:

Would the Regeneron thing qualify as “better treatment”?  Seems like it really helped old fat guys like Trump and Giuliani recover faster

Sure, plus that Ivermectin stuff the guy in the video talks about sounds promising as well. The point is we need something that a hospitalized person can be treated with and reliably recover. Death rate while hospitalized could be 0 with the right treatment.

Alright lets back up here.

1.  Greatest inventions in all of mankind:  a. Porn  b. Fire  c. Vaccines

2.  Any new vaccine comes with risk of side effects.  Life is a series of Risk vs Benefit decisions......you do you.

3.  If any person reading this wants to get back to any semblance of life like we knew it, pray these vaccines work as the trials indicate (with small percentage of side effects) and mass amounts of people get them to gain the true value.

He sounded like a cack. But if you think his message is wrong, then you think that some people's lives are more important than freedom. Being put on lockdown and destroying people's ability to make a living is a communist act.
