Taking Alabama - 39.5 vs Middle Tenn, Bama likes to beat up on teams early in the season. My pick of the day and I bet on others but more confident in this pick.

This worked and only bet 3 games yesterday 2 for 3 and Penn States garbage TD help. Hit a 12-1 horse too , so over all a good day.

1-3 yesterday and 4-7 to start the season is not how I wanted to start. When I was a young buck and first starting riding rodeo they told me - Go home or get back on. I'm getting back on today.

Oregon State/San Jose State

Nick Nash u 43.5 receiving - DK

LSU/Florida State

Brian Thomas u 42.5 receiving - DK

Johnny Wilson u 62.5 receiving - DK

Keon Coleman u 59.5 receiving -  DK

Trey Benson u 68.5 rushing - Bovada

Thata boy. That one was easy.

NFL may be the way to go this year. Since books quit offering college receptions last year it has hurt. You and I need to put our noggins together on these this year. I will start throwing out some ideas saturday when lines get released.

Saturday:

Israel Adesanya by stoppage -105

That's a good bet at even money.  As you know I love Strickland, but I realize betting on him is a hail mary in this fight.  I might use yours as a hedge so I come out even.

I can find some time Saturday.

Do you remember what the Bender rule was and was it for week 2?  That's always fun to bet even though it wasn't a lock all the time.

Week 2 overreaction. Find teams that won/lost in week 1 and jump on potential line flaws by the books.

Tough because Israel sometimes dicks around and is fine with winning a decision.   Strickland just seems taylor made for him.   And applies forward pressure which usually creates openings for a KO shot.

Yeah.  Wasn't there some sort of all overs or unders week 1 or week 2 too?

That thread has a little life in it btw.  Facook posting some props last week.  Hooter blew his load on Sky Moore last night, but, I like his mma.

Found it.

Week 1 unders that close b/w 41-48 have hit at 61% over the past 13 seasons.

That was 5 years ago though.

https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/nfl-league-average-points-per-game-by-year-2001-to-2022

Last year hit 70%.

Last year 50% of the teams scored 20 points or less.

Without going and getting 2019, 2020 and 2021 it won't budge the percentage very much.

Bal/Hou u43.5

Cle/Cin u47.5

Ind/Jax u46.5

Min/TB u45.5

NO/Ten u41.5

Pti/49rs u41.5

Chi/GB u41.5

Den/Las u44.0

NE/Phi u 45.0

Sea/Lar u46.5

Nyg/Dal u45.5

Nyj/Buf u45.5

Elijah Moore over 2.5 catches -130

Yes!

Elijah Moore is expected to line up in the slot and out of the backfield this season, according to Zac Jackson of The Athletic.  The uncertainty with the team’s backup running back situation could end up partially being solved by Cleveland using Moore next to Watson.

I'm liking Penn State & Bama to beat up on some teams again this week.

The Bama game is interesting.   They beat Texas by a point last year and the Texas QB got hurt in the game.  From what I can see Bama's skill players are not what they usually are.  Texas has better pro prospects on offense thats for sure.

But taking Texas almost seems square.  I will probably not bet that game.

yeah, i'd have to bet that all day. I think they like Jerome Ford so i'm not really concerned about any potential usage out of the backfield but hes a good receiver who out of the slot should command 5-6 targets.

DK also has Adesanya ML boosted to +100.  Free money @Horseman?

Yeah, +EV since he's the -650 favorite.  I have a man crush on Strickland so it's hard to admit, but, I'd take Izzy all the way down to -250 or so.  As it is I'm going to hedge a Strickland bet with a Izzy knockout or a finish inside the distance to hope to break even.

Not a lot jumping out at me on this card yet.  Maybe Anton Turkalj -115.

Good looking out. They also have your local teams sprinkled in the rewards section. I was able to grab Bengals ML +153

Izzy had 12 KO/TKOs in a row leading up to and including his first fight in the UFC.  😮

Buy you're right.  Hes only got 30% TKO in his wins since then. Sean has only 30% TKO in his wins. And u4.5 -150 isnt a big number.  I think this goes to a decision.  Izzy by pointz is +150, even better most SS and points is +185.

Izzy SS and points +185

Sean by points +1200

That should ensure Izzy knocks him out early.

@bostonlager are you thinking we split up games or do the same ones and compare?  I usually dont get through all 32, usually just focus on the ones I'm interested in and prime time games.

I was thinking we compare and see what we come up with. I’m the same way. I don’t always cap every game.

Well thinking about strengths, especially moving through the season, I follow the Cowboys and live in the Seahawk market. So those games and those two divisions are what I hear the most about.

Morning Games: Cin-Cle/Bal-Tex

Afternoon: LaR-Sea/Phi-NE

Scan the rest and see what jumps out.  Bigger names.  That's the plan right now.

Strickland looked absolutely wreaked (not in a good way) after the cut at the after weigh in interviews. Extra pound for championship fights.

Israel shouts "for China" when stepping off the scale. WTF?

Praying for a miracle.
