really for weed though, which I don't think they even test for anymore, so kinda sucks for him too.

Yup.  Don't care.  It was in the league's policy.  Every other player who smokes pot (which is probably a ton), never seemed to have a problem with holding off for 6 months.  On top of that, after you pass 2 in a row, they give you a 1 month heads up on when your next test will be.  He's an idiot, plain and simple, and torpedoed his own career.

I am pretty sure there were other issues there too.   I doubt weed was the only problem
