Aaron Rodgers test postive for Covid - Out Sunday against KC

I don’t want to force you to do anything, just would like you to have a lower chance of being hospitalized or dying as well as a lower chance of passing it on to someone who could be hospitalized or die.

You can’t make a definitive statement like your “body will fight it and build up immunity.”  Natural immunity isn’t perfect and likely wanes as well as much as lod wants to claim that it lasts forever and there’s never been a case of someone being reinfected, which has been proven wrong by his own links.

And as you are all saying, getting vaccinated doesn’t guarantee that you won’t get covid.   In fact most studies show that getting both vaccinated and infected provides the best immunity possible.  So yeah, everyone will probably catch covid at some point.  And if you’re not catching for the second (or third) time, it’s better to be vaccinated when you do.

1. Actually you can pass it along just as easy as I can, there is no proof that you can’t.
2. You don’t understand how natural immunity works. I will give you an example. I have never had the flu and have never had the flu shot but I have been exposed to the flu countless times every year. My immune system fought off these exposures and became stronger but I never had any flu symptoms except a slight cough. Why would I get a flu shot that is less than 50% effective? Likewise I have been exposed to Covid many times and have not had any symptoms because my body fought the virus and has become stronger.

So when Jordan Love starts on Sunday, he will be only the 8th different QB to start for Green Bay in the last 30 years. Without googling---how many of the others can you name?

wow thats kind of a shock as long as he was there, and the Pack had a lot of games locked up, and Farve never missed a start?

Yep. Just a wee bit bigger deal than the whole baseball stand around Ripken streak.

After taking over for an injured Majkowski, he never missed a start for Green Bay, New York Jets and Minnesota until his last season. Closest he came in Green Bay was a broken thumb in 2003. Had the Jets had options and Favre wasn't so stubborn his streak would have ended in New York as he was clearly injured and required shoulder surgery after the season.

This will be only the 22nd game since '91 where it wasn't Rodgers or Favre.  Majkowski-3, Hundley-9, Flynn-6.  So RHR got 18 of the 21(22 will be Love this weekend).  2 QB's left with a combined 3 starts.

He has one of the three starts that were unaccounted for....if you can remember his name.

And you are correct, he had 2 starts.  So the only one remaining is the unnamed QB Justin mentioned who started 1 game the same season as Tolzien.

Honestly, I would have also, except during that season, we hired a girl in the office who had the same first name as him.  Only reason I can remember him.

Oh, my bad...that's Kizer and he never started for Green Bay.

Funny, the guy who did also started for the Browns, so I thought you had it.

I remember having to start some guy on GB when AR was hurt.  I can’t remember now, and I was cursing his name the whole night.

i know theres been a LOT of cross-pollination of Browns-Packers QBs.  Tim Couch, Doug Pederson, DeShone Kizer.

This is angering me. I remember McCarthy saying how ready this guy was to step in. He wasn’t even close. I think it begins with an M?

There is proof the viral load decreases faster among the vaccinated.

Have you had an antibody test?  Just because you got “exposed” doesn’t mean you have immunity.  You might’ve just got lucky that you didn’t catch it.  Or maybe you’re some sort of M Night Shymalan character that never gets sick.

Sorry I wasn't around, but you guys got the last one.

According to the article(and I have no idea who these qb's are)  The Giants are second with 12 different starting quarterbacks since 1992, followed by the Patriots with 13 and the Steelers with 15.

The article had it at  30 seasons(not years--my mistake for saying years)---so Don Majkowski was included.  If you want, you can absolutely ding me for saying years...because Don doesn't make it the last 30 years since he only started the first 3 games of 91.

Sorry, my bad for not correctly stating the question.

Any instances of people getting the Polio vaccine and subsequently contracting Polio?

Chicken Pox?

Small Pox?

Serious question.

ETA: more importantly, any instances of anybody having gotten over those and subsequently being vaccinated against them?

There is more than one Polio vaccine.  One form of the Polio vaccine can actually and does cause Polio type disease, same symptoms as Polio, in people that get the vaccine.  Not in the United States, but a version still used recently in some third world countries.  It's a problem.
