It's painfully embarrassing that people don't understand the nature of the war that's actually happening. It's a stealth class war (against personal sovereignty; these people are absolutely utilitarian) on a global level.

There are pragmatic reasons for transitioning our current economic paradigm, and then if you're sociopathic (4% of the population; and there's reason for the smart and ambitious ones to be at the top), there are no moral/empathy reasons against it. We haven't been on a sustainable course, and those who have been enjoying the ultimate level of power want to control the transition, instead of losing their power in an organic collapse. 

It's just painfully embarrassing how effective the veneer of authenticity/authority is when things are filtered out to the masses through the media. 

The framing the vast majority of us believe is lies.

The heart of the demolition starts when the United States is *neutralized. When it will no longer matter if the people here start to "get it",  because we've been decimated enough. 

*It's not because we're so great, we're just the best candidate to actually be a threat because of our (old) national mentality and resources.

Does not exactly shed light on my question.  65% of Iraq's oil extracted in a year is classified as an import?  And that equals 3% of our oil imports?  Or does the US buy an additional 3% from Iraq and not count the oil it directly takes?  That's not clear from this link.  No information whatsoever on the Syrian oil.

Of all the US crude oil imported, 3% is from Iraq.  Syria is 0%.

The United States imported about 7.86 MMb/d of petroleum in 2020, which included 5.88 MMb/d of crude oil and 1.98 MMb/d of noncrude petroleum liquids and refined petroleum products.

No it doesn't state usage.  It states percentages of US crude oil imports.  Still does not address my question as to whether this is additional we buy from Iraq (a true import) or the 65% we just take and don't pay them for.
