Songs that grab your soul!

Recommended Posts

Of course most of us have plenty of songs that completely resonate with you at different times, but this one's been on me like white on rice for almost a year now. In the last couple of months I've had a very close brother and lifelong best friend die, so maybe that's why it's touching me deeply lately.

I'll post more later, do you have any you'd like to share?

Ya know this actually kicks ass. Of course I really dig her daughter singing backup.

After my dad died I listened to this song again.  I just cried.  It was the first time I think I ever really understood the lyrics.

Same.  Nice add.  Another that reminded him of his mom before he passed after she already had if I may:

This is one of the songs I chose for mrs nzoner's funeral 12-17-21,after all she'd been through it summed it up quite well but makes me bawl like a baby whenever I hear it.

Dude, I'm so sorry.......I didn't know, and if I did I don't remember. I'll listen later

Never been a fan of country music, so not sure why, but this song grabs my soul every time I hear it.

And this one, which always reminded me of one of my uncles who passed away last month.
