But it's not the same as before.  Before they were limiting people who violated no rules, simply due to not liking the message or the political leanings of the person.  The only person I'm aware of that has been banned by Elon is Alex Jones, and I don't think anyone has a problem with that.  Additionally, after the report came out last night Musk tweeted that they are working to modify the software so that everyone can see what flags there are on their accounts.  So, even if they do limit the visibility of your tweets, you'll know exactly what those limits are.  I don't know if they intend to continue using that system but I suspect it will be much less aggressive if they do and much more even handed and justified.   So, no, it's not the SAME as it was before.  If that's your stance you're simply trolling.

Yes it is, I guess I am mostly just saying that I don’t read a ton of news.  I prefer primary sources.  I’m sure they are respected journalists, and I have not attacked them personally (but yes I know some have), and I haven’t really attacked their content either, mostly just pointing out that some of what they wrote doesn’t say what some of you all think it says.

Accepting strategically chosen files from the CEO of Twitter to do a supposed exposé of Twitter… is NOT journalism.

Musk is giving them only what he wants them to see, AND both journalists were required to release the “story” on Twitter instead of on their own substack websites. They are doing PR for Musk. This isn’t right vs. left. It’s calling a spade a spade. Here’s more verification that Weiss was given only what Twitter wanted her to see:

Correct. It happened across the liberal media.  They used the standard liberal gambit " there is no proof that such a thing is happening".  We could see it, it was evident in the outcomes and when conservatives spoke out about it the liberals put on their best Cheshire cat grin, claimed "noooo proooooof" because they never considered that Twitter might be bought and the secrets revealed. 

Jack Dorsey bold-faced lied to the congressional committee, I hope they hold him to account. Right now at Google, Facebook and even Apple they should be very aware that something might arise that shows they have done the same, and yes, I firmly believe they have....so the lib's can start with the eye rolling and "conspiracy nut" stuff, while yet another conspiracy theory is proven to be true.
