ugh, alright dummy.  A tax break is not pure profit, because the taxes paid were likely deducted somewhere, and I don't even know where they are kept in the P&L or reported.  I'm not a corp accountant, I don't know how Disney files their documents, I'm not even going to begin to speculate.  There are people that know way more than me when it comes to cost accounting.  But I know that you're not one of them, a guy who got his finance knowledge by listening to George Steinbrenner interviews.  You're an uneducated blowhard that spews BS on the internet, and I can assure you that the accounting is more complex that you could even fathom.

Also, Gutterstooge, you get to apply the tax credit over different years, not laid out over a twenty year period like you described. Some years more, some years less. That’s why it’s called a credit.
