I agree with you that kids dancing for money is inappropriate.  Perverted means there is a sexual nature.  If there are people in the audience watching the kids dance with sexual thoughts, then it's preverted.  Regardless, it's inappropriate.

Pride Parades and the Pride festivals that follow are noisy and crowded. They’re filled with sights that may be new to kids, like public nudity and kink. Not to mention that Pride parades aren’t the most sober of places. So is it appropriate to take your young kids to Pride?

Ive been to mardi gras once.  I saw no kids.  I am sure there are some.  I wouldn't bring a kid to mardi gras.

I have been to NO twice.  Once for a wedding and once during mardi gras.  A friends wife is from the area.  

Bourbon St without mardi gras was just a ton of drunk people on the street.  It was actually very tame when I went anyway.  Mardi Gras was definitely much different in my experience.

How am I not accepting? I dont care who anyone is attracted to.  I was just wondering if gay pride meant perverted sexual acts.  Because there is a lot of that at gay pride events that I have seen.  So if they don't want thr stigma thats comes along with being "trans" then perhaps dont act out said stigma in celebration?  Seems logical to me.
