And the character could still high five the non autograph seekers but didn't. Also I don't think anyone in that parade signs autographs. Sesame Place characters are not allowed to do that so they were waving them off. You could make the case that they were preoccupied with that and then trying to get out of there and unfortunately missed the two young girls. The Plant HR Director (a short and fat woman) told me I was going to have to act a part. I said absolutely not! I'm a production technician, not an actor. She was pissed. As a matter of fact, I thought she was going to hit me. Both my supervisor & the plant manager had my back. Ironically, about a year later, she did hit a male employee & was fired the next day.
