Inflation Ticking Down - Jobs UP - Market Up

Recommended Posts

You were dealt a rotten hand from the prior administration's horrible spending and handling of the pandemic (to name but a few) but your steady leadership has the country firmly on the correct path.  And clearly the mid-term results showed the majority of the country feels the same way.

Thanks Joe!

The fed still hasn't upped the rate yet for December.

The market has priced in a 50 basis point increase.

Slow and steady improvement following the tragedy of job losses and $8T added to the debt by the prior administration.  No masks except in healthcare facilities, store shelves full, restaurants full, massive consumer spending, airports full.

Thanks Joe!

Inflation is only at 7 pct? Then we should definitely pass another massive spending bill in the lame duck session

Check out Biden's spending in 2 years vs Trump's.  Biden's been very restrained, particularly in 22.

Thanks Joe!

Biden has gotten some impressive bipartisan support for his legislation. I don't imagine it's going to be much different with a flipped House.

tickling down from a record high great job!!

A record high driven by the prior admins adding $8T to the debt.  Unless you think Biden somehow caused inflation to skyrocket 3 months into his admin...oh wait, I forgot who I'm dealing with here...

From an article Nov. 29, 2022 at Reason:

Quote

Official estimates from the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) show that, since January 2021, legislation signed by President Biden has set in motion a record $3.37 trillion in new spending, surpassing Trump's previous record of $3.28 trillion during the 116th Congress.

Now if you want to discuss how  that money is being spent that is a different argument. But Biden has spent more than Trump.

Inflation adjusted Biden spent less.  And that's money allocated, not spent.  A bigly piece of that money hasn't hit the economy, and won't for years, while all of Trump's has.  Plus Trum spent like a drunken sailor the prior 3 years.  Any way you slice it, Trump added $8T to the debt, much much much more than Biden has added.

Inflation is on Trump way way more than Biden.

The 116 congress? The one with the pandemic? Ok.

You mean Biden came in with no covid?  I know he conquered it but it was around in 21 thanks to Trump's mismanagement.  It took Biden all of 21 and some of 22 to get rid of it.

Trump’s spending wasn’t horrible, it was because of the pandemic.

We’ve already had a back and forth where you admitted you were going off “what you thought” and not facts regarding stocks being up under Biden. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Why you would harp on facts or “feelz” is beyond me 😂

My December electricity bill that just arrived was 333.33% higher than the November bill.

I go to 3 different supermarkets. Not to comparison shop, the shelves are so empty, I'm hoping I can find what I need in three stores because one ain't getting the job done.

I find it fascinating that one of the first things Senator Biden did after the January 20th insurrection was to jack up the prices of insulin and epi pens. Like 10X the price. Then a year or so later, he gets a bullsh!t bill of some kind passed, he's bragging he cut the prices of insulin. Hey, retards, are you paying attention? He's the one that jacked up the prices in the first place.

S&P up 7% since Biden took office.

What's your issue now?  Did Trump add $8T to the debt or 40% more in 4 years?   FACT

Did Trump bully the Fed to keep rates low during "booming" times? FACT

Did markets begin to show inflation well before anything Biden did took effect?  FACT

Is the US producing as much energy now as it did during peak Trump?  FACT

What would you like to argue?

Grocery stories shelves FULL here in wonderful blue Maryland.  Prices down quite bigly.  Chicken breast $1.99/pound.  T-bone $7.99/lb on sale.  Eggs $3.00 dozen.

Thanks Joe!  What you had to recover from due to Trump's utter incompetence was staggering.  You are a miracle worker!
