What are you looking to do? Cause I can give you whatever suggestion you’re looking for. I won’t be back in Charleston for a while so unfortunately I can’t meet up with you to show you around but I can give you recommendations for whatever you’re wanting to do. Just let me know

There’s quite a bit of places you could visit. The aircraft carrier is on the Mt Pleasant side and so is Boone Hill farm if y’all wanna check that out. The Battery is also nice. Walking downtown is always fun. There’s a ton of shops and places to eat downtown. Fleet Landing is a solid place and it’s got a good view since it’s literally on the water in the harbor. Got quite a good bit of bars to grab a drink like the Gin Joint or Prohibition (they have a maple bourbon old fashioned that is excellent). If you’re looking for something more upscale to eat at SNOB is excellent (Slightly North Of Broad is the name), Magnolias, or 167 Raw Bar. O-ku has great sushi. There’s also a few very famous BBQ spots there like Rodney Scott’s or Sweatmans. Lewis BBQ is good too but the other two are way better.

That’s all I can think of off the top of my head at the moment but if you have any questions or need specific info just let me know

Also, there’s a place called the Angel Oak there. It’s not far from my old apartment in west Ashley. It’s a HUGE oak tree and people take pictures there. They have a great restaurant that sources all their ingredients locally as well.

Digby definitely never lived in Charleston.  He’s just rattling off what he reads from Tripadvisor
