Sure, someone who is biddren or dies of COVID can't go spend money, meaning smaller demand. But the worldwide lockdown seriously affected spending and travel. Gyms, retailers, restaurants - just about everyone - saw a steep decline in business, meaning drastically reduced demand, therefore plunging prices. Gas prices dropped precipitously as travel dropped off and people worked from home.

Along the way, the virus seriously affected supply chains.

So while supply chains remained crippled, the vaccine rolled around, the quarantines tapered off, people started moving around and went crazy with the pent-up need to spend.

Drastically reduced supply matched with exploding consumer demand = inflation.

Then Ukraine came around and worsened supply-chain matters, particularly petroleum produced, as spending continued its uptick.

This are rock-solid facts, basic economics that I taught to elementary-school students in my Junior Achievement classes.

Why grown-ass, supposedly educated adults can't get their minds around this and instead blame someone they hate in the White House is ignorance at a pandemic level.

My comments were meant to be insulting, not against Sarah Sanders (whom I doubt is reading this) but against RogerDodger. Compared to the ugliness and bigotry that is normal for this forum, some of it in this very thread including the post I was directly responding to, your focus on it only proves your hypocrisy, which is why I won’t retract my comments. Tim isn't a bigot for using the word tranny.  I never even mentioned that.  He's a bigot for comparing a woman he apparently doesn't find overly attractive to trannies as a slight.  That is insulting to both and bigoted towards trannies.

I would say at age18 as they are legally considered an adult in most jurisdictions. Kim Petras, the trans singer who just won a Grammy, had gender confirmation surgery in Germany at age 16, but had to get special permission to undergo the procedure and had the full support of both her parents as she was going through the process (and under those circumstances I am fine with that).
