Mike Honcho 5,148 Posted April 4, 2023 There's a con like me in every prison in America, I guess. I'm the guy who can get it for you. Cigarettes, a bag of reefer if you're partial, a bottle of brandy to celebrate your kid's high school graduation. Damn near anything, within reason. I must admit I didn't think much of Donald first time I laid eyes on him. He might'a been important on the outside, but in here he was just a little turd in prison grays. Looked like a stiff breeze could blow him over. That was my first impression of the man. So when Donald Trump came to me in 2023 and asked me to smuggle McDonald's Chicken Nuggets into the prison for him, I told him no problem. And it wasn't.

The Real timschochet 6,534 Posted April 4, 2023 Sure sounds like this is a lot more serious than Michael Cohen and Stormy Daniels. 34 felonies, including tax evasion and conspiring to undermine the 2016 election? Did he pay off Stormy Daniels? She got paid off but I've heard conflicting information as to whether he ever repaid his lawyer so I'll wait for the evidence on Trump's involvement in that one. I suspect he was involved but big deal. Paying someone off for an NDA is not abnormal. I don't think they're alleging it was business fraud but election fraud. That's how they make it a federal offense, theoretically. It's very shaky legal grounds and exactly the same thing John Edwards did and he was acquitted. And Edwards used election funds so his offense was actually worse. As far as classifying it as a legal expense, that's exactly what Hitlery did to cover up her paying for the Steele Dossier. Haven't seen you complaining that she hasn't been charged with a felony. Point is, everything you allege has already been done by others who weren't prosecuted.  This is why I said we should wait until the actual charges. It appears to be much more serious than what you assumed here.
