I remember people on the right having a hissy fit about that one too.  I don't see much of a difference, just flipped sides.  Like I said, more similar to each other than they realize.

So you admit you are having a hissy fit?

Haha ok.  Carry on.

Loyal Bears fan here.  I wonder if Seafoam would stop cheering for the Bears if they used Mulvaney to promote the team?

Exactly.  Both sides are immature douche bags, they act the same, and chastise each other for their behavior.  It's quite fascinating.

I think buying or dumping BL is goofy.  But Kid Rock did it for clicks.  Like anything done on SM these days.  And goofs like you gave him the easy pub for weeks.

If this was some Georgia law and dems boycotted and dumped out white claws you wouldn't care much.  But something about trannys gets you going more than anything else.  You are consistent.

You are specifically changing something you've done you're whole life.  Seems odd to make that change because of an ad.  People around here treat their beer like Ford vs. Chevy or red vs green tractors.  It would be like cheering for the Packers instead of the Bears.  I think it's silly.

Nope. People do that all the time. They change phone number, addresses, even their name. Swapping brands at the grocery store is negligible.

Go head and keep thinking it's silly, that's ok, you just sound like a retard everytime you bring it up.

This was kind of the point I have been trying to make.  People like Kid Rock are the ones who are throwing it in your faces.  The media did what they always do and try to get a reaction out of people and it worked.  Now people are blaming Bud Light for shoving it their faces when they really didn't.  I never would have known about it if I didn't see some right wing twitter accounts sharing it and trying to get clicks.

That's a terrible comparison.  People change phone numbers and addresses because they have to, not in spite of some brand.  People change their name because they get married or because they just want to.  You see how stupid this comparison is, right?  Yikes, and you called me the retard.

People that don't buy plastic stuff or shop for recycled eco friendly products do so because they think they are saving the environment.   They boycott certain products.

People that dropped bud light for another beer....pretty easy to do....did so because they believe they are helping save society from this rise in worshipping the mentally ill.

Who cares about either?   Some Bills fan can run out and buy flutie flakes because Doug's mug is on the box and that is perfectly normal.  But someone switching a beer because of the spokesperson they hired on is insane? Sound logic.

This whole boycott is funny because Dems are so butthurt about it.  I can picture gutter replaying the kid rock video daily with a clenched fist.

Perhaps others don't see the similarity, but I do, and that's one of the points.  The woke Left has been jamming gender confusion at our kids and many people feel disempowered to do anything about it, since the Left has the power of the MSM and the administration behind them.  You'll say it's not a big deal and I'll show you 200+ Democrat reps who voted against the rights of girls in girls sports, and zero who voted for those rights.

This Bud Light thing is a small chance for some people to feel like they are doing something.  And man, the Left HATES it!  Culture wars are supposed to be THEIR purview, how DARE these knuckledraggers cause them discomfort?!  They are participation trophy people used to getting their way, and seeing the tables turned is making them apoplectic.

So the 9870128394th time you point this out, I'll yet again think "yep.  How does that ass taste?"

I recall when MLB pulled the all star game from Georgia because of a law being proposed.  Seems just fine to those on the left when its done according to their line of belief, but dare to do as they do and they seem to think it is wrong...

I don't know how many times I have to say this, but I'm not angry at Kid Rock, I'm laughing at him.

Now you do have a point that a certain segment is butthurt, and we're seeing this now...

Quote

The Human Rights Campaign is calling on Anheuser-Busch, the owner of the Bud Light brand, to publicly reaffirm its support for the transgender community in response to pushback from conservatives after the company partnered with transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney.

placeholder
"In this moment, it is absolutely critical for Anheuser-Busch to stand in solidarity with Dylan and the trans community," the LGBTQ advocacy group said in a letter this week to Anheuser-Busch, according to The Hill.

So let's follow along...

1) Bud Light puts a tranny on a commemorative can.

2) The right loses their sh1t and starts shooting cans of bud light

3) Sales dive, and AB backpedals and distances themselves from said tranny

4) Tranny supporters lose their sh1t and demand bud light stands with tranny

5) People like me watch all this and laugh at the idiocy.

You have something against New Holland? Not everything has to be Case vs Deere. Blue tractors matter too.

It's always been red vs. green.  New Holland and Case are actually owned by the same company.

FYI - Kid Rock isn't the one forcing me to take diversity and inclusion training.  Kid Rock isn't forcing ESG standards and reporting down my throat.  Kid Rock isn't the reason for the Unisex bathrooms at the new KC airport.  Kid Rock isn't the one telling me that what I have learned in my 54 years of life experience is racist and creating an unconscious bias but only against minorities, women and the disabled.  Kid Rock isn't the reason damn near every other commercial features gay men and or multi racial families.

Kid Rock knows his audience.  While his marketing stunt was childish or even stupid if you prefer it strengthened his brand.  Bud Light obviously didn't know it's audience and their moronic marketing stunt cost them 10s maybe 100s of millions of dollars.

Almost.  I know it was like you heard that somewhere before.  🤣

Sure I do

1 - Company launches a social media campaign that's offensive to most people on social media.

2 - Some of those offended make retaliatory type videos.

3 - The vast majority of people simply stop buying the product.

4 - The company cans the campaign offending the minority so they stop buying the product too

Retards hang onto #2 because it's all they have left.

Bud Light is now in a lose, lose situation.   The left and trannies are mad at them, right is mad at them.  With both sides mad Sales have fallen off a cliff.

Last night we went to a local pub and they took Bud Light off their tap.  Bartender said they were going through 3-4 half barrels a week and sales dried up.  Said was not worth using up a tap handle on now.  It is a place where is mostly 20 somethings at night too.

If this is only a local pub think about the drop in sales everywhere.

It's life changing when Hawkeye's wife comes home from the store with a different brand of milk, bread or shampoo.  It's a discussion to make sure it was for a good reason like the cost of their regular shampoo brand went up $0.10 and not that they put a bunch of fagggots on the bottle.

I think it only makes sense that the same people boycotting Bud Light should be boycotting every company that supports trannies then.  Be consistent.

Anyone that says anything about climate or the environment shouldn't buy an iphone every year.  They should buy nothing disposable.   They should buy washable diapers for their babies.  And for thr love of God they should never own a pool.

You seriously don't see why it's a terrible comparison?  I'm talking about being loyal to a specific brand and then no longer using it because they upset you.  None of what you have said is similar.

I remember a time when a lot of people were trying to boycott products from China.  That's damn near impossible.

In my day-to-day life it has been 12 years since I have interacted with a transsexual.  That person was a large man, 6'3" 280 lbs or so, in his 50's transitioning to a female.  Our interaction was noneventful even though it involved gender politics in 2010.  The issue was as to bathroom use in a public building but in private areas of that public building.  The transsexual with whom I worked was accomodating of the feelings and the apprehensions of others.  The transsexual was a public person.  Since then, nothing.

It's actually not.  And if enough people were committed to it then someone would start making those same products here or in another country without the issues China presents.  A lot of companies have actually opened manufacturing plants in other Asian countries where it is similarly cheap to produce product, as a hedge against the volatility surrounding China.  But most people aren't THAT committed to their "causes."
