God detests of these foolish acts.   Deuteronomy 22:5.  Amen.

Republican or Democratic it doesn’t matter, they do things differently, but their goal to destroy America is the same.

Hey, sweet pea!

Nothing in the Bible condemns LGBQ.

In fact, plenty of scriptures support it:

Nothing can separate us from the love of God. (Rom 8:38)  This message is for all people, including LGBTQ individuals.

God did not make a mistake in creating LGBTQ people. “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.  I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” (Psalm 139:113-14)  Sexual identity and gender identity are components of a person’s personality, and as such are part of who God made each of us to be.

All people are justified through Christ, including LGBTQ people.  “God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them” (2 Corinthians 5:19), therefore, “we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand.” (Romans 5:1, 2). This is not to say that being LGBTQ is a sin, but if it were, it would certainly be forgiven.

All people have been intentionally created by God, including LGBTQ people. Isaiah 43:1.  “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.”

Wow, I didn't know the term LQBTQ was coined that far back. God was ahead of his time.

Nothing in the Bible condemns LGBQ.

In fact, plenty of scriptures support it:

Romans 1:26-27

"God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error."

Nothing you are saying has practical historical context. During the timeline that the Bible was written or estimated to have been written, the economy was based on mass labor/agriculture. Also there was high mortality in child birth, people had shorter practical lifespans, and heavy casualties from sustained warfare was common. Hence you needed lots of new babies and births to replace the dying or dead.

Nothing written in that timeline would support the LGBT lifestyle. Not a chance. Even a basic small family farm, you needed lots of kids because you needed lots of labor to work the fields, deal with the animals and survive via what amounts to primitive hard fought day to day living.

LGBT and it's lifestyle is tolerated in the modern world because the basic economic structure in current times can sustain it. When it can't, things might change. In South Korea, they are giving out stipends to young people to go out and rejoin society. Because their birth rate is collapsing. That's true in a lot of other modern nations as well. Without more babies, there is no new tax base for the future. No new soldiers, cops, nurses, doctors, engineers, mechanics, tradesmen, plumbers, teachers and so on and so forth. All the things you need to keep a modern society functioning.

Do I personally care if someone is LGBT? No, I don't care. Go live your life. Go try to be happy. But I'm not going to do like you are doing and pretend that the Bible also doesn't say things that denounce the LGBT lifestyle. You could say that's a matter of interpretation or how the Bible was translated, which is a common argument made. And I'll say none of that washes away the practical economic / labor requirements of the timeline of when the Bible was likely written in previous history.

Living the gay "lifestyle" exclusively, for whatever reasons, is a deviation from our survival instincts. That's what we were designed to do. Survive, adapt and reproduce. That's the only reason you are even alive today. Countless generations before you were able to successfully survive, then adapt, then reproduce. It's why LGBT in the past, in previous times, were treated and labeled as "deviants" to society at large.

Do I agree with that? I wouldn't agree with that terminology today. But I also wouldn't judge society and culture hundreds of years ago that just wanted to have food on the table and a roof over their heads and tolerating LGBT would hinder that.

If everything you are saying and implying was true, then you are actually saying there were masses in history long ago who had no basic sense of self preservation whatsoever. Don't be so busy to look for the next bigot around the corner without realizing that previous generations in time just didn't want to starve to death.

On Inclusion

God welcomes people of all genders and sexual identities.  “There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”  (Galatians 3:28)  Also “…God has shown me that I should not call anyone impure or unclean.”  (Acts 10:28)  Jesus gladly socialized with people that the religious establishment disapproved of. (Matt  9:11)

The Church needs its LGBTQ members. “The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ. Some of us are Jews, some are Gentiles, some are slaves, and some are free. But we have all been baptized into one body by one Spirit, and we all share the same Spirit.” (1 Corinthians 12:12-13)

The early church welcomed non-gender-conforming people.  One of the first recorded baptisms by the apostles was of an Ethiopian eunuch. (Acts 8:27)

Jesus warned against using anti-gay slurs. The NIV translation of Matt 5:22 reads “anyone who says to a brother or sister, ‘Raca,’ is answerable to the court”.  The original Greek text does not include “sister”, and the word “raca” is most likely a transliteration of the Aramaic word “rakkah”, which is the feminine form of the adjective that means “to be tender, weak, or soft”, so this would be comparable to calling a man a “sissy” (or worse).  [8], [9]

It’s not widespread. Sucks to be the victim, but it’s just like playing the lottery.  It’s all luck. You can’t do much to prevent it.
