Transgender lifeguard candidate rejected by City of Jacksonville after removing top at the pool

It happened at the city pool at Cecil Aquatic Center during a group try-out for the job.There were children present during the exercise. The city has received complaints about the incident....Two sources within city hall told Action New Jax that the city has chosen not to hire that applicant. The city released the following information about the incident:....“This incident happened Thursday of last week at Cecil Pool. A transgender person, a female who identifies as male, removed their shirt exposing their bare breasts, and completed a portion of the training with 20 other trainees. While we cannot confirm the age of the individuals participating in the training, JaxParks recruits lifeguards starting at age 15. This occurred within view of several dozen children and their parents sharing the same pool at the same time.....”

Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry released the following statement: “Through a citizen expressing concerns, my administration became aware of an incident where a biological female trainee in a lifeguard program was topless at one of our public pools.....After consideration of the incident, I believe it is wrong for our public pools to be a place where Jacksonville families are forced to explain to their children why a person hired to protect public safety is exposing her breasts.....I see no reason for our lifeguards to be forced to make changes to existing rules mandating that biological females cover their chests. Our parks and public pools are meant to be a place where families can feel safe to enjoy themselves. We shouldn’t force parents of young children to be caught in the crossfire of battles over wokeism.”

Female high school student scorches school district for allowing biological male student to use girls bathroom

.....Martin Luther King High School in Riverside, California, made headlines after a viral video showed a transgender student assaulting a female student on campus. Parents reportedly told Fox 11 the transgender student has a history of "erratic and uncomfortable behavior" and had access to the girls’ bathrooms and locker rooms. ....Hannah Tubbs, a 26-year-old who now identifies as a transgender woman, pleaded guilty early this month to sexually assaulting a girl in a Denny’s bathroom in Palmdale, Calif. in 2014 when she was 17...Back then, she identified as male and did not identify as female until after she was taken into custody, according to prosecutors....A DNA match in linked Tubbs to sexual assault leading her to admit her crime.....Prosecutors argued in court for the judge to transfer her to an adult jail, but Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascon refused, citing a policy that states juveniles shouldn’t be prosecuted as adults. Gascon had also concerned that Tubbs could be victimized as as a transgender woman in a jail for adults, the Los Angeles Times reported.....

“I want to be clear,” judge Mario Barrera said at the sentencing hearing. “The filing of a transfer motion is entirely within the discretion of the district attorney....Because of George Gascon’s blanket policy against transferring any juvenile to adult court, even if the 17-year-old rapes or murders an innocent child, James Tubbs will not have to register as a sex offender, will not spend any time in county jail or state prison, will be 26 and housed with juveniles for a very short period of time, and will be released with no probation or parole monitoring...The victims will get no justice. White was sent there despite being a convicted sex offender and paedophile. All the 52-year-old's previous offences had been committed when she was a man.... – and White had not had gender reassignment surgery when she went to women-only New Hall Prison near Wakefield, West Yorkshire, where the sex assaults took place.

....A transgender woman sued a New York City yoga studio on Monday after being asked to exit the women's locker room at the studio and being told to use the men's facilities, according to a court filing.....Ali Miles, also known as Dylan Miles, according to the complaint, is suing Hot Yoga Chelsea for $5 million after management asked Miles to exit the women's locker room following a yoga class. ....Hot Yoga Chelsea management prohibited Miles from using the Women's facilities.....After the yoga class, Miles entered the women's locker room and other women "complained" about Miles "presence," ....This filing is the third gender-identity discrimination lawsuit Miles has filed in 13 months.....

Hot Yoga Chelsea management allegedly told Miles to use the men's facilities after being escorted out of the women's locker rooms....On October 26, 2022, Miles was found guilty of two counts of aggravated harassment per domestic violence, a class five felony, for instances dated in November 2021 and February 2022. He was also found guilty of disorderly conduct, harassment, threatening or intimidating, and false reporting to a law enforcement agency, which are all class one misdemeanors. He was placed on supervised probation for a period of three years and sentenced to 312 days in Yavapai County Jail, with credit added for the 132 days he had already been held there. Miles was also subject to a domestic violence assessment. Three counts of stalking with the fear of death against family or pets were dismissed by the court, as were three counts of threatening and intimidation with injury or damage to property.....

The lawsuit against the Yoga studio is also not the first time Miles has launched a lawsuit complaining of “discrimination"....... located four other suits filed Miles alleging discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity, all of which were filed in rapid succession during a two-month span last year. In February of 2022, Miles filed a civil action for $75,000 in compensation against Sedona Soul Adventures, an Arizona-based business he had previously worked for. Miles alleged that the tourism company had wrongfully terminated his employment shortly after he was hired after subjecting him to “gender identity-based harassment and discrimination.” .....On March 7 of 2022, Miles filed two separate civil actions — one against Planet Fitness and one against Bagel Point, both, again, on the basis of “gender identity-based harassment and discrimination.” In both, Miles represented himself, and failed to use consistent pronouns, often calling himself “Mr. Miles.”

In his action against Bagel Point, a cafe in Brooklyn, Miles sought $75,000 in damages alleging he had been wrongfully terminated and subjected to verbal abuse on the basis of his gender identity....Miles had been an employee of Bagel Point for a short period of time, during which he claimed the owner, a Muslim woman, had referred to him using slurs and mocked his gender identity, as well as had crafted “unsubstantiated” complaints about his performance.
