I thought Trump's comment was funny.  I also don't want the POTUS to speak in such a demeaning way.  Which is a reason that a majority of people in the country won't vote for him and he has zero chance of getting re-elected.

I'm not a Trump fan but I'll take Trump 100 times out of 100 over this President. I don't give 1 crap about his mean tweets or offensive tone. All I know is that we had a strong economy, the border was finally stable, we were independent of foreign oil and NOBODY F'd with this Country.

I do not share that assessment.  I think his greatest weakness is that he is honest all the time, because he simply does not give a fock.  He lacks the proper fear.  But he also lacks the ability to understand that when you speak honestly you are ignoring the complexities of politics.  People like Biden, Pelosi, Schumer, McConnell and the rest all understand the verbiage to use when and where because they understand the totality of the landscape and how the things they say impact all the others....Trump does not have this....

But I’ve always held the theory that whatever a President does or doesn’t do rarely achieves results during his presidency; much like an NFL draft, the results are only clear 3-4 years later. Therefore if things were good during Trump’s time in office, it’s largely due to the actions of Obama. If things are bad currently it’s largely due to the actions of Trump.

I think there is some merit to your assertion.  But I think you are painting too broad a brush.  It is not whatever a President does. There are a few areas where it would be true to say you have to wait for outcomes, but most of the time the policies have a more immediate impact. 

Trump was foundationally solid in his policies, was delivering effective outcomes, but the real measure of some of them needed time.  By way of example, he delivered historical employment for AA's....but it might take 5-10 years for the to manifest in measurable improvements. 

Trump was highly effective, Biden has been just ruinous by comparison.  But he appears to be yeilding just a little on his earlier mistakes, so I am giving him credit for at least trying to do better
