Honest question. When did we change the definition of terrorist

What changed?

a person who uses unlawful violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims.

No one. You and Gutterboy and Biden have it right. White Supremacists are the greatest terror threat we face.  Got it. Thanks guys.

That’s the right definition

yet the last example of terrorist was a deranged white dude killing some people in buffalo

what kind of political aim did that have

being a racist pos has nothing to do with terrorist

Basically the Democrat party... mainly white liberals.  Wait... I stand corrected, Biden is right, white supremacy is the biggest threat to this country.  He was just clever enough to leave out the fact that he and his people are those white supremacist's.  Good move by him.

White suoremacists are a movement, a group.  The guy in Buffalo has not been shown to be part of a group.

Conservatives have never made this distinction whenever a lone Islamic terrorist appears. Like the guy at Fort Hood.

Racism, as vile as it is, is a form of political expression.

The author describes himself as someone who initially identified himself as being on the "authoritarian left",[83][84] before he developed American neo-Nazi, antisemitic, eco-fascist, ethno-nationalist, populist, and white supremacist views.[12][85] He claims to have adopted these ideological stances after he visited the discussion board /pol/ on 4chan, an imageboard, as well as the website The Daily Stormer beginning in May 2020,[5] on which he saw "infographics, shitposts, and memes" at around the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States.[81][86][87] The manifesto primarily promotes the white nationalist and far-right "Great Replacement" conspiracy theory of Renaud Camus, which claims that elites are promoting immigration and decreasing white birth rates in an attempt to subject whites to a genocide.[5][88] The manifesto also says that Jews and the elites are responsible for transgender inclusivity and non-white immigration, that Black people disproportionately kill white people, and that non-whites will overwhelm and wipe out the white race.[89][90]

1) We're talking about domestic terrorism.

2) Calling out white supremacy does not lead to racial divide, it's not white v black, it's white supremacist vs non white supremacists

3) How little do you think of black people, that a bunch of college graduates are gonna listen to Biden talk about white supremacist terrorists for 2 mins, and then walk away with a worse impression of white people.  come on man.

Whu?  At a commencement at an HBCU?

If he wanted to keep race out of it, he should have mixed in a few race-neutral bad things.

"Graduates, as you embark on this new adventure, keep in mind that white supremacy is the largest terrorism threat facing this nation.  Also child molesters are really bad.  And don't get me started on coyotes trafficking humans.  Or Putin may snap and nuke the planet.

Now go face the world with hope and optimism!"

OK good point, Biden ignored all the black on black crime.  Therefore as a white supremacist, you got unfairly singled out.  Sorry about that.

I've avoided getting sucked into this straw man which your Leftist media has provided you -- namely, if you object to Biden's speech, you support white supremacists.  I will concede that it is a good redirection of his inappropriate comment, since it's so dumb that simple-minded people think it's brilliant.

I provided a list of other bad things, most would say worse things, that Biden could have added to his speech, since his intention was merely to mention a random bad thing which had nothing to do with race.  :dunno:

1) His intention was not to mention random bad things

2) White Supremacy does have to do with race.  It's the belief that the white race is better than others.  Also it's bad.

3) You should have avoided this thread

Hell Biden had no idea what he was reading any way...  He was just trying to read what was on screen...

Well this is true.  I'm sure he didn't even write the speech, and had no idea where he even was.

Again, I've avoided your strawman of "white supremacy is bad so it was good for him to say it."  That leads to a discussion on what "white supremacy" means, but I don't want to go there, because it's not the main point.

But good on you that is was not a random bad thing.  He mentioned it in a speech to an HBCU because, well, they are mostly black, and knowing this speech would go well beyond those walls, it was a dog whistle not only to those kids but to Leftist sycophants like yourself, to foment unrest.

Yes, fomenting unrest means starting a riot.  Do you ever tire of drawing inane conclusions?

OK so why don't you tell me what you mean then.  Biden just wants people to be angry with White Supremecists?  Maybe give them a stern look, God forbid.

Sorry, I have yet to see you address my main point which I've mentioned multiple times.  Do that first and I'll consider going further down your rat hole.

The strawman is your main point?  You've said twice you're avoiding it.

Nevermind, enjoy your evening.

Also I never would have known about this if you guys didn't create this thread and cry about it.

No, my main point was that an occasion of hope and optimism is not a time to blow this dog whistle.

Enjoy your evening as well.

Me either, particularly Biden didn't actually tell a room full of black kids that "whitey is out to get them" (if you actually listened or read a text of what he did say). White supremacists are a fringe group and don't represent "whitey" or anything more than a small percentage of white folks.

The only thing better would have been if he repeated his “put you back in chains” garbage.  Very uplifting indeed.

More white supremacist terrorists.

https://www.wfmj.com/story/45938097/3-men-plead-guilty-in-terror-plot-against-us-power-grid

Quote

CLEVELAND (AP) — Three men espousing white supremacist and neo-Nazi beliefs conspired to sow civil unrest by attacking power stations throughout the U.S. while expressing a willingness to die for their cause, federal authorities said Wednesday.

Each of the three pleaded guilty to one count of conspiring to provide material support to terrorists during a virtual court hearing before a federal judge in Columbus.

Christopher Cook, 20, of Columbus, Ohio; Jonathan Frost, 24, of Katy, Texas, and West Lafayette, Indiana; and Jackson Sawall, 22, of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, were charged through bills of information and currently are not in custody.

They face a maximum of 15 years in prison at sentencing.

Biden calls Trump supporters the "alt-right" (though he qualifies it by saying "not all", which means that he's implying "most"... and not really.  He does mean all, because he's too senile to hold back how he and his party truly feel).  White supremacist's are the "alt-right".  Not hard to do the math there.

No. Hes referring to the MAGA types who are with Trump thick and thin, who would never support anyone else. He is not referring to traditional conservatives who voted for Trump because he was the Republican nominee and will vote for him again if he is the Republican nominee.

I’m MAGA. I prefer RD.  But if it’s Trump so be it.
