Commitment Seeking Liberal: No Masculine Men In Dating Pool Who Aren’t Conservative

Recommended Posts

Just in the different Fb groups I belong to; a few specific to dating, a couple for GenX posters...groups that kind of have a lot of diverse members and ideas.

One thing they ALL seem to agree on is that dating SUCKS. A lot of the older folks think it's more terrible than it used to be, and even dating out of their age group is awful. Men say the same. You can watch some of those YouTube/Reels/TikToks when dudes ask women what they want and it's ALL superficial and money/wealth based. They expect to be taken care of financially; including their children from previous relationships. I think there is a certain group of women (not a generation specifically) that really do have a HUGE sense of entitlement, it's tough to find one that might not. And then you have the fiercely independent women who really don't need or WANT you other than for physical stuff so the emotionally connection isn't there.

The men, forget it if you have an ounce of alpha male. One page showed a guy wearing an NRA T-shirt and ALL of the women said he'd be an immediate NO if they saw him on at a dating site, literally because of a t-shirt. Yet, these women want the guy to take care of them, be great in bed, understand their every need, take care of the house, the children that aren't theirs, and the woman doesn't want to work.

You couldn't PAY me to be in the dating pool right now. Nope.

A friend of mine jumped back into the dating world after basically being celibate and alone for 10 years(he's early 50s).  He did mainly online dating.  His opinions were two-fold.  First, there were alot of women who didn't want anything more than to meet for a meal/coffee (usually out of his pocket) and weren't looking for something else.  He figured most were just looking for the most basic sense of affirmation of self from a man....they had minimal amount of pursuing anything serious.  Granted, some I'm sure were turned off by him and weren't looking to pursue.  Second, there were also a lot of women who were first and foremost looking to plow. He said he got laid more in that 12 month period then any other 12 month period in his life; including his marriage.  SOME of those women were looking for a relationship that could grow; but most of them devolved quickly as alot of them seemed to have problems that showed why they were single.   He'd tell you the positives outweighted the negatives; particularly since he found a woman he's seriously seeing now.

No.

I belong to one group called, "Girl, don't date him" or something similar. Women post pictures of men they "match" with and basically ask, "This is so and so. Any red flags or tea? Does he belong to anyone?" And these women chime in with that if they know him. There are men that pop up on there ALL the time. "Yes, I've been dating him for 4 months, where did you match?" Or, "I dated him over the summer, started out great, then he got a little weird/ghosted me (whatever)." There is more than one site like this on FB and sometimes women will say, "he just popped up on this other site on FB"

It's kind of interesting really. Other than that, I don't belong to any online dating or dating-specific sites. I am not dating. I just joined to read some of the drama, really...

I also belong to a VERY broad "GenX" group and they talk about dating a lot, along with a few groups that are about books. Every site turns to dating or the sexx at some point. But the views are almost always the same. Dating sucks ass.

Just giving you a hard time. :D

Funny, I hear people talking about FB being a lot like you say turning to dating and sechs, and people hooking up on it, but my groups are boring as can be and talk about hiking or whatever the topic is.  :(

Feminism and women killed it.  Just like they did chivalry.  ;)

Turns out Feminism was the biggest boon to men since, well, women, fire, the wheel and sliced bread.  It gave them exactly what they wanted - sex - for free!!!

Yes and no

Nothing wrong with women learning to be more independent and have boundaries, know that they can bring more than cleaning and childbirth to a relationship.

Men kind of created the monster of the "perfect" woman being hot and taking care of them all the time. You can have that, just be prepared to pay for it one way or another. :)

People are obsessed with Taylor and Travis because the media is obsessed with Taylor and Travis, and people are obsessed with whatever the media tells them to be obsessed about.

Who knows how she got there. She doesn't seem like a feminist though.

Modern Feminism tells women that not having a man or a family but a career is what they really want, what is dawning on her late in life is the reality of what she actually wants.

Humans evolved successfully for a reason, progressivism seeks to unwind those elements.

I partake of debate, watching two sides of an issue debate a topic is the last bastion of actual thought and logic....   sometimes a side will raise up such a video to bring a point home.

One cannot find legitimate information from media, or even the educational system, as these have all been poisoned.   If you can find some folks engages in actual debate.....no name calling....no labelling....none of the virtue signaling..you can enjoy critical thought, and its wonderful.

Of course that didn't answer my question.   Stuff like this show up in your feed? Did you search for a similar video? Was it an example from someone else you follow, what?

As I stated, I peruse debates, video where folks on two opposing sides debate some topic....occasionally those participants raise up things such as what I provided, as was the case here.

Liberal Women are insecure and need a submissive partner. That's why they prefer a more feminine Man, a Liberal one.
