Given the fact that as long as I can remember my parents gave me shots of rock and rye for my ailments (sore throat/headache etc) because it had fruit in it I’d say way under 10.

Around 10 or 12. My dad would make me and/or my brother make him drinks when we were kids. Jack & Coke, SoCo & Coke, 7&7's ...

Some of his jack or SoCo made it into my glass of coke on "accident" fairly often. I wasn't a 7&7 kid.
