My point of this post is seems people stop doing outdoor sh!t after the 4th like go fishing, cook outs and get together's and etc. Like they get it out of their system in June and because it's hotter in July & August stay more in air condition. Like Tree posted the Back To School ads and sh!t start.

Isn't July 4th kind of the beginning of summer?

It's June 21st (summer solstice) the date (in the Northern Hemisphere) with the greatest amount of daylight.

6 months later marks the beginning of winter.

I'm grilling and chilling poolside, right through September.

I just cut my grass....its still summer.

It's July and I've only cut my grass 3 times.  The fewest ever for this late into summer.

My record was 4 times total here in south-central Minnesota (2022) & 1 of those 4 was nothing more than mulching the leaves in late November.
