“But I am Telling you RIGHT NOW - That Mother-Focker Back There is NOT Real.”

Recommended Posts

This is a good topic. Thank you for starting it.

As a small business owner, I'm just not going to hire someone who has a ton of facial tattoos. Or has visible markers that deviate too far from basic "social norms" The people who work for me that do HR, also know I don't want that in my companies.

It's not personal. I'm retired now, but I still have to dip my toes in to some day to day functions, etc, etc. And it's enough of a pain to keep your business surviving and/or thriving and moving forward. In short, I have enough problems of my own, I have enough on my own plate, I don't have time for other people's problems. If some want to see that as callous, then so be it. I wish no one ill will. Go live your life the way you want. But the more you deviate from some pretty basic social norms, the more you will be seen with distrust.

If you go back to biological imperative, anything that looks too far out of the "norm" will trigger an internal response in a person to perceive possible threat. This is how the human race has survived for so long. Something looks out of place, your intuition and gut feeling go off and sound an internal alarm, and you see people as potential threats. It's often instinctive.

Put it this way. Some people here are parents. For those with sons, how many of you want your son to grow up and have the procedures done that are shown in the two videos above? Or if you had a daughter, would you want her to bring home either one of those guys above for Sunday Dinner wearing an engagement ring?

I'm not saying everyone needs to look like they rolled off the same assembly line. But life is hard enough on it's own, without compounding the factors around you that could cause people to choose to judge you or limit your opportunities.

So this is the "influencer" from the original video. How old is this guy? The point being, will he feel the same way about having those tattoos on his face when he's 50? 60? 70?

So he can live his life how he wants to live it, but he can't be mystified that lots of people will refuse to "respect" him based on his appearance. Looks are currency in all of society. Every culture. All throughout recorded human history. Fair or not.

Maybe he's the kind of person who will enjoy still having all this at 60. But I doubt it.

Like anything in life, just be authentic. If this is his "authentic self", then so be it. But you'll notice the people who get these life changing sweeping changes are usually very young. A fair question is raised on if someone is self aware enough, depending on how young and what circumstance, to really have full "agency" in making these permanent decisions.

So it looks like the face-tat guy wasn’t on the plane at all.  Sorry about that.

From what I could glean, it sounds like she saw a shape-shifter.  This is her full warning to the passengers as she departs.  Oscar-worthy speech. 😆

😂😂 This is why sound canceling headphones placed on ears as soon as you sit and very, very limited chit chat where you remove one headphone and say “sorry what was that” to make it clear you are into something else should be standard practice.

Safe topics are the weather, or perhaps if you want to roll the dice, how crowded the airport was. Anything else you are playing with fire!

I always take a window seat and pretend, or actually, sleep. No conversations. Easy peasy.

Anybody who's ever tried to have any brickwork done at their house knows that there's no such thing as a free mason.

Unless he's banging your hot daughter.

He does look crazy but seems rather nice once you get to know him.

Once he presents himself online you mean. Puts his desired image forward. What normal person tatoos their face and neck up like that? Answer: Nobody.

I don't give a sh*t. I could change seats and peaceably sit next to either of these attention seeking drama queens.
