I tried all the time to create sports threads but no one seems care anything about overall sports. Just their own teams. I recently started a thread about Connor Bedard being drafted #1 by the Blackhawks. Best prospect since Connor McDavid but, nothing.... Stock Market? I have a shltload of stock in my own company but don't talk about my company on social media. Crypto? There was a long running thread I thought but I don't touch it myself. Food? Kind of like movies. Same old ones that fade quickly. TV shows? They usually get a few responses but fade quickly. All that said, it probably is a good idea to maybe have a political thread seperated out. Was suggesting FBG’s because it sounded exactly like what the OP was asking for and that site could also use traffic…although this place makes it look like the 405 at rush hour. In his mind, Joe thought his own politics was totally mainstream and would be widely accepted as a level-headed take. To his shock, he got waves of outbursts from subscribers calling him a communist lol. I think that started him down the path to shutting down the PSF. Traffic seems down since the PSF was closed, as those who posted in the PSF frequently also posted in the FFA. But for those who like to talk politics there has not much been much of a reason to go there now (although I post occasionally in the music threads). And all that was allowed with mod's approval.
