Dude is so upset over a Barbie movie.

Guys, get over yourselves, it's just a dumb movie, stop playing the victims here.  What a bunch of babies.

Hey stupid ass, the only one worried about it is you!

When it’s on a streaming service I’ll probably watch it with my wife and daughter. I saw the previews for it and actually found it funny. I don’t plan to read any further into it.

I have zero plans to watch it, however I enjoy watching maga pansies rage about it.

I'm sure I will- I watch too many movies and have liked Gerwig's other movies.

It was the maker's intent to read into it, not sure why that is a bad thing.

My favorite part was when Ken lowered his pants and showed that he’d already had genital mutilation surgery!

For someone to hate watch a movie and create a 40 minute critique of it, and then purchase and burn the dolls from the movie, you are either mentally deranged, or you are taking advantage of the mentally deranged for clicks.

Either way, dude is a POS.

You have a pretty triggered definition of a POS.  Were you crying when you typed this?  :(

Could he even see the keyboard with his mascara running down his face?  😂

Also, for a guy who claims not to care he sure seems to care an awful lot.

Today's generation of women are pretty lousy at homemaking skills. Canceling Barbie in favor of Easy-Bake ovens is a great idea.

I remember a day when a movie like this was  ignored by the people who it wasn’t intended for and was enjoyed by those it was. Now everything needs to be used to make some kind of point.

Tell that to guttermutt.

This is a dumb thread.  Everything I've read about this movie is it's entertaining.  I won't pay money for it but when it becomes available I'll download and watch it at home.  Some of you are too invested in "sides" and try to make everything political.  Even if there's a measure of "woke" in this movie, EVERYTHING is going to fall somewhere on the spectrum of 0% woke to 100% woke so who cares?  In the case of Lightyear, some people objected to an unnecessary gay kiss being inserted in to a kids movie.  To me, that's understandable.  If Gutterpedo isn't offended by it, he is welcome to go see the movie with his favorite little neighborhood plaything.  It's not the inclusion of "wokeness" that people get offended by.  It's the context of the inclusion of that wokeness.  But I'm sure this nuance will fall on a lot of deaf ears.

Is this how you guys deflect?  Because it's pretty lame.  The red team is clearly triggered, in this case it's the focking Barbie movie, and your only defense is that I'm triggered by laughing at Ben Shapiro being triggered?

I didn't deflect, I commented on your direct quote calling him a POS.  I said you've got a triggered definition.  You completely avoided that, then called me deflecting.

Shapiro is a strong advocate for traditional families.  If this movie sent a contrary message, then it is totally consistent with him to comment on it.  You already know this though, since you are a centrist you listen to both sides and have an informed opinion of Shapiro.  Well, that or you are a Lefty hack regurgitating your marching orders from blue hair Twitter.  Which is it?

Yeah, and back in college the gays couldn't get people to wear pink triangled to support the gays so they declared a "Jeans day". Wear jeans on Friday to support gay pride.

Good one.

The history of movies have involved critics. They even had popular tv shows around it.  Now all of a sudden liberal males are triggered by critics going against their beloved barbie movie.

No, I don't follow Matt Binder. However, his tweet did appear as one of the top posts in the hashtag about the Barbie movie, probably because it has gotten some 4,800+ retweets and 68,000 likes.

I’m going to watch Oppenheimer this week. Do I need to watch the Barbie movie first or can I go in without knowing the backstory?

So you don't follow him, but you were proactively seeking Twitter comments on the Barbie movie?

No, I was looking at posts on the top trending Barbie movie hashtag (as I do with all hashtags that are generating a lot of discussion and interest).

My daughter went to see it Friday night; dressed up like Barbie and had fun with it.  They went to a fun dinner and a movie place near us, and she asked my wife and I to join her and her friends.  I'd have gone if my wife really wanted to, but she didn't want to impose and, since my wife is an engineer, we plan on seeing Oppenheimer in Imax instead.  We'll probably see Barbie when is streams.

Liar.  You were looking to be outraged.  You have a problem.  Why do pedocrats seek out stuff that makes them angry.  Mentally unstable.
