Ray_T 740 Posted July 26, 2023 Chiefs WR Kadarius Toney has knee surgery and faces several weeks out but is 'determined' to make first game of new NFL season on Sept. 7 | Daily Mail Online they say he will be back by week 1 but I am skeptical
polecatt 474 Posted July 26, 2023 Arthroscopic surgery, a month and a half about? That's doable if it's not too complex, but I'm still quite skeptical, I would knock him down a notch or two on draft day

That's probably where he should be drafted, but ya know somebody will pull the trigger much earlier.
weepaws 3,152 Posted July 26, 2023 I have removed him from my list. I’ll focus on S Moore.
Ray_T 740 Posted July 26, 2023 to add to this, if he had shown to camp looking healthy I think he would have been drafted by now
League Champion 1,896 Posted July 27, 2023 He can't walk to his refrigerator without getting hurt. I traded his ass in 2 dynasty leagues. I should be in jail for robbery.

IGotWorms 4,057 Posted July 27, 2023 Hard pass, I don’t think this guy is ever going to pan out. But then who, out of KC, is the question. Skyy Moore was awful last year but he was a rookie. Valdes-Scantling is a jag and just a one note deep threat at that. I guess you gotta go Moore and hope he takes a big step forward. Anybody have an informed belief on whether that will occur? weepaws 3,152 Posted July 27, 2023 If I am able to draft Moore, it will be based on hope. But darn he’s going to play with a good Qb.

JagFan 149 Posted July 29, 2023 Rashee Rice could be the WR to have if he can get up to speed early…big if. He’ll also need to show consistent effort. He tended not to show up at times in college, but impressed when he gave the effort. Hopefully preseason will shed some light on the situation.
weepaws 3,152 Posted July 29, 2023 Read an article that said Rice was on the field with the first unit during workouts.
DocNiner 67 Posted July 30, 2023 Yes, I think Rice is a guy tokeep.an eye on through camp and see where he slots in the pecking order come.week 1. Maybe a good late round bench stash if your drafts are.close to.the season opening.

weepaws 3,152 Posted July 30, 2023 Kelce ADP is way to low. I’ll pass, and two others owners in my two leagues deal with catching up at rb&wr.

DrG 102 Posted August 1, 2023 With Pacheco on the PUP list etc. to start the season, CEH might have sneaky value. They might miss JSS and Hardman more than they know this year.
weepaws 3,152 Posted August 1, 2023 Agree about CEH.
IGotWorms 4,057 Posted August 1, 2023 CEH is definitely good value (though I’m sure he’ll climb up boards now), but let’s not forget he’s never amounted to much before. The only reason Pacheco (a 7th round pick) could even take the job was CEH wasn’t up to the task

I feel like CEH & Pacheco are pretty much the same guy, especially in that offense. Both are replaceable JAGS in my opinion. Neither one does anything great but they're just good enough. Clyde already blew his chance.

Neither one does anything great but they're just good enough. well, this is the kind of offense where a JAG can put up decent numbers. but they are not the same guy. CEH is mostly a pass catcher. Pacheco is more a runner. and at 4.9 yards per carry hes not doing badly at that. I think there is definitely some upside there. 830 yards rushing and he was barely used in the first half of the season. I have to believe that with a little experience he should improve as time goes on. To that end, I think there is something there. if going zero RB in your draft, he is a nice candidate given where he is ranked in most publications (including fftoday) sure the injury thing is concerning but you cant argue the price.
weepaws 3,152 Posted August 19, 2023 Sadly he is a must add if you go zero rb early, I would rather go after a rb , and a high profile wr, then rotate best available to avoid needing to draft Pacheco. I could draft him as a rb3-4 and not a rb1-2.
GobbleDog 981 Posted August 19, 2023 43 minutes ago, weepaws said: I could draft him as a rb3-4 and not a rb1-2. Nobody's wants Pacheco as their rb 2. But everyone has to make sacrifice at some position. Ya can't have it all. The Rb 2 sacrifice results in Pacheco and his ilk.

If anything, doesn't sound like he'll miss much time at first, which is encouraging.
