Could you recycle just as a practical matter?  Landfill space is finite and plastic bottles are the devil.  If we could be assured that what we placed in the recycling bin actually got recycled, would you do it for pragmatism rather than climate alarmism?

A guy I play golf with is a route manager for our local trash pickup company. He has told me on numerous occasions, it doesn't matter if you put it in your trash can or the recycle bin, it all goes to the same place. Its much easier to throw all waste in the trash can.

Covid was a virus that appeared in short time frame which was infecting the globe at a breakneck pace. No one had any clue what was going on if we were prepared etc. 

No I would not stay at home, no one would, it is not going to be proposed. A climate lockdown is not something to be concerned with. This is tinhat nonsense akin to tracking chips in vaccines.

Check the costs.  Where I'm at you get charged more for trash so it's better to throw everything in the recycling. 

You'd be amazed at the stuff I've gotten rid of in the big blue recycling can for practically free.

the concept of "political correctness" originated with the Soviet Union as a means to control speech that went against the communists.  Did you know that?  They wrote the book on "shaming language".  "Social justice" is a communist term.  Albert Einstein praised Stalin and wrote of being a social justice warrior.  You are clearly uneducated and need to do a lot of reading to understand politics before commenting on it and looking dumb.
