thegeneral 2,913 Posted August 2, 2023 I’d say the real issue lies in that he has brainwashed a large chunk of the GOP voters. The guy chosen to be the “normal” version of him is a robotic ham and egger who got exposed. Then 8 other people jump in to dilute the remaining votes. He’s your problem, not ours

If they had anything concrete they would have taken the most serious and tried to pin him. Throwing the kitchen sink just shows everyone its desperation. Georgia is next and he will pass Biden in the polls. Bidens implied probably based on betting odds has slipped dramatically almost even with Trump and its Kennedy and Newsom running 2nd and 3rd. All this before the news this week.

I agree that indicting Trump seems to make more Republicans support him. But isn’t that played out at this point? I don’t think it helps him with independents. weepaws 3,157 Posted August 2, 2023 I don’t know how much or how little, but I think a lot on independents like how he’s been battling his own team. Again the agenda is one for all, and all of them are against the people of this country, red team blue team. God bless.

The topic in this thread is the poll numbers where the indictments seemed to have helped Trump. I'm guessing that was lost on you.

RIF - You don't have to double down on dumb, but it does explain why you do. What he said requires things to happen in the future. The numbers discussed are now compared to a few months ago.
Cloaca du jour 2,147 Posted August 2, 2023 This will be Epic!!! Now that they opened the can of election worms. Trump can supoena whatever he wants from all the states he was accused of. Backfire!!!

Discovery is not his friend here. I wouldn't be surprised if his defense is basically non-existant, much like in the E. Jean Caroll case. After all, so many are already completely impervious to bad news about him that he doesn't need to do squat to keep the money rolling in, which is ultimately why he's doing all of this in the first place. 1
Engorgeous George 2,137 Posted August 2, 2023 I do not understand how republicans want a lame duck who will be consumed by additional attacks. I don't understand backward looking at a time when one can move forward on then high road.

Biden only looks good compared to Trump, who only looked good compared to Hillary. The high roads have all collapsed.

All the leftists focused on during the extremely violent 2020 leftist riots were the two words "mostly peaceful". $2B in insurance claims alone. Not to mention the physical violence they caused. All we don't hear from the same leftist idiots are the words from Trump "march to the capital and protest peacefully". Liberals are so focking crooked and stupid.
