Engorgeous George 2,331 Posted August 27, 2023 Preparing to exit the grocery yesterday evening when a family of 6 enters the vestibule of the doorway area. Both parents are obese, pasty, and are showing tatoos on their flabby legs. The father has a mullet. The mother a cobolt blue streak in her hair. The kids are two young teen boys, a girl of approximately 9 and a toddler. All are wearing crocks, including the parents. This family of misanthropes decides to have some family debate as they block my exit from the store. After about 10 seconds of them being oblivious to those around them I tell them to clear a path. Obese mom asks obese dad if he is going to let me talk to them like that. I assure her that he is. He did.

nobody 2,673 Posted August 27, 2023 I'd say a family of fat people did block your path, but I bet you just said, excuse me, and they got out of the way.

wiffleball 4,790 Posted August 28, 2023 One of the many many reasons I hate smokers. They walk out the door and come to a dead stop while they fire up their cigarette. Even though in this state, you have to be 25 ft away from the door before you can smoke. Again, I think smokers are the rudest most clueless people I've ever met.

I have young kids so I end up at a lot of water and amusement parks. Ooof. More tattoos than teeth on a lot of these people and the fat just spills out of them. I keep wondering where the Fock they get the money. Those places ain’t all that expensive, but they ain’t cheap either. Had to rent a cabana last time just to be away from them. Engorgeous George 2,331 Posted August 28, 2023 I went to the reservior near my house to kayak yesterday morning as is my custom now, that or to bike around it which I also do regularly. There are a limited number of prime parking spaces where a person can unload their kayak, canoes, or paddleboards directly next to the water. I am generally there early enough to get one of those spots. Yesterday I arrived and an SUV holding four fat, middle-aged females showing roles of tatooed cover fat were parked in the middle space of three prime spaces. They had their vehicle doors open and on either side of their vehicle were inflating their paddleboards in the parking spaces next to their vehicle. The custom at this recreation space is to inflate those things behind the vehicle on the strip of sand, not to take up parking spaces to do so. These individuals did not follow custom, they simply chose to use three parking spaces out of a limited supply. Given their lack of consideration for others I had to park 100 yards away. Now its not as if I can't carry my kayak, kayak seat, paddle, PFD, and fishing equipment the 100 yards to get everything ready to launch, but I would prefer otherwise. Parking next to me was a guy I would guess to be 70, so a few years older than me. He had a hydroplane sailboard. He had to carry the board, the hydroplane assemble, the mast and the sail that same hundred yards as had I. We are getting ourselves squared away a few feet from each other and are preparing to launch at the same time while those individuals continued to block those spaces from the use of others. He looked at me and said they were disgusting and inconsiderate individuals who could use a lesson in manners. I agreed. When I finished my paddle after three hours and came in there was a tow truck and a ranger truck parked next to the SUV of those four beasties. Seems all four of their tires had been deflated. I noticed the guy on the hydroplane sailbord had already finished, packed up, and left. I wondered if it was he who deflated their tires. The tow truck did not have an air compressor and wanterd to tow the vehicle. The ranger had apparently called park maintanence who arrived with an air compressor. The tow guy still wanted money for responding. Eventually the women paid him something and he left. The maintenance guy left. The park ranger left. I left. I wonder if it was the sailboard guy or someone else who took thier retribution. While driving out I looked around for surveillence cameras covering the parking area. I wondered if the old guy was going to get busted, or at least excluded from returning. I did not see any cameras but that does not mean they do not exists, just that I did not see any. Off now to do some biking just as soon as I put out the garbage and the recycling. Retirement is good.
