The effect on the world economy (and eventually ours) could be disastrous.

It would indeed.  The question to ask is it not more disasterous to allow the status quo to continue.  Isreal being attacked every few months.  Shipping in the Red sea to be disrupted and threatened. Terror cells around the world, likely including our own country to be funded.

You stand squarely against appeasing Putin yet you take an appeasement line here.

There was also a terrorist attack in Jaffa that killed 8

When asked about this Kamala Harris said she thought Alladin defeated Jaffar and then she cackled.

Seems like the attack is over according to Iran. I have this guy covering the situation in the background

I don’t mean to. But the circumstances are quite different. The Putin situation is analogous, IMO, to the years before World War II. The Israel situation, on the other hand, is closer to our struggle in Vietnam, or Britain in India/Pakistan, etc.

Except technology, oil wealth, and religious funamentalism in charge of a government has ratcheted up the intenisty and frerquency of attacks on Isreal.  In the 60's to the 90's we had one state of affairs, now, I believe another entirely.  The old status quo was nearly tolerable.  The new paradigm is shifting rapidly, and in a very bad direction.

I don’t disagree but I’m still convinced that your solution is the obvious correct one. And of course you didn’t mention that Iran is basically a nuclear nation at this point.

I don’t know what the solution is. I’m not sure that Biden has acted correctly here. I’m not sure that Harris will be able to handle this. But I do believe three things:

1. I don’t trust Netanyahu’s motives.
2. I don’t trust Donald Trump’s competence if he is elected again.
3. I don’t think Israel can ever win this struggle through military means.

Hopefully this is just a face saving move so that Iran and Hezbollah can say “look we struck back.” And that things will calm down. We will see.

Yes the middle eastern countries in these conflicts are always well known for saying "Ok- we are even now....let's stop"

Waiting for Iran to become a nuclear nation looks increasingly untenable, not just for Isreal, but for the world.  The center of the Arab world is shifting from Riyadh to Teheran though iranians are not really arab.  perhaps i should have written the center of the Muslim world.

I do not trust Trump's competence either.  I do trust he and Vance on this more than Harris and Walz though only ever so slightly more, but frankly neither is the leadership we need.

Iran couldn’t have afforded it.

Difficult to say.  It may have happened sooner.  Who knows?  I do know this, Trump has a higher opinion of his abilities than is warranted, as do is supplicants.

Likely not.  On the other hand regimes living under the thumb of a powerful foriegn country become resentful and radicalized more often than not.  This may have cost Iran more dearly under Trump, but who is to say thay may not have been preoared to pay that cost out of pride?

Pride doesn’t pay for rockets. You think those monkeys can make their own?

My first wife, if animated, looked like Princess Jasmine.  She was a sport about it too.  She bought a pretty elaborate Princess Jasmine outfit and could do her voice extremely well.  Too bad she was a complete psycho.

My current wife is more of a Belle from Beauty and the Beast.  My third, if that happens, will hopefully be a Pocahantas, and now let the psychoanalysis begin.

I am also a Disney adult.  Just let it go.  (May the 4th be an Elsa)

My ex GF was definitely a Tiana, after her my ex GF was more like Jasmine. My current GF is more like a Isabela from Encanto.

They CAN be weird.  I just mean I enjoy Disney content and the parks are fun.  My house does not look like It's a Small World.

My favorite ride is Mr. Toad's.  The premise is you are drunk driving through London, crash die and go to hell. Have fun kids!

I am definitely not a Disney adult.  I just happen to dig harem outfits and Jasmine was one.  I probably got that fetish from I Dream of Jeannie.  As for Pocahontas, who doesn't like a dark chick with great legs in a sort leather skirt.
