Spermoff Do you skip over people in the buffet line?

Recommended Posts

Spinoff from the airline thread.

For the snobs, say you're at a wedding.

You're in line at a buffet. Plate in hand and some food in front of you. All you want is the pasta at the end of the table, but the person in front of you starts making a side salad. Do you stand there while they make it and load up their plate with other food or do you skip over her and get your pasta and sit down?

Women annoy the F outta me at buffets.

Listen princess, you're not curating a photo shoot for Bon Appetit.  You don't need to spend 20 minutes finding the perfect leaf of arugula.  Friggin rude. People are waiting and hungry.

Buffets, I'm all about speed and volume.

I’m still scratching my head at the buffet during a wedding. Has he not been to one that wasn’t in Vegas?

I don't what it's called when they put the food on a separate table and call up tables one by one.

One time I went to an ice cream social, and they had a separate table where you could choose your own toppings.

It was called the jimmy buffet.

I go to buffets all the time - often have them at golf tournaments and weddings.

To answer your question - no, I don't skip in line - I'm not an ass.

For events/functions, buffet is a service option for all tiers.
