My first encounter ever with the BS was before the '16 election. A meme popped up on my FB feed about being unable to count the number of Obama scandals (I'm aware who was running) and that their head would explode if there was another one. I replied asking why they were having trouble counting to zero. It was downhill from there with a bombardment of BS memes throughout that election cycle. The '20 election seemed a little better in that regard but not by a lot. I don't keep up with the deep state or Musk talk regarding twitter. I don't do twitter at all, mainly because of my disdain for the bullshit. No one should be getting their news from social media. Hopefully, the lunatics aren't free to run wild again and there will be measures in place for accuracy.

Both sides are guilty here. Trump isn't some Russia agent or plant. It's also not anywhere close to a nothingburger. Trump denied having anything to do with Russia and then there's audio of one of his sons saying they get all the funding they need from Russia. Trump looking like a sulking defeated dog next to Putin, who's smirking. This is the POS you want in charge? Not me.

These are the people that just lap up misinformation and spread it. It's been how many years already? Not a single court case in your favor and no evidence you can point out to prove anything. I spent too much time with these dolts here. I feel like Jordan Klepper interviewing cultists. Until you can get that first case in your favor or are able to point out some real evidence, just STFU. Ten years from now, they'll finally have the evidence to prove the '20 election was stolen, just wait two more weeks! I don't see this ending anytime soon. It's turned into its own beast/grift.

IRS, Biden threatening to withhold funds to Ukraine that had been approved by congress and the state department had said that Ukraine had fulfilled the anti corruption stipulations concerning corruption. There are a couple more.

Call that one heavy political lean then. It wasn't the best example, it just happened to be the first BS meme that flew by my radar. It was meant to convey that Obama's presidency was wracked with scandal after scandal, which I believe to be untrue. If you think so, that's fine. My main problem is the meme's that are demonstrably false. My first post here was about some twitter post to show how racist Biden was. "OMG, I can't believe he said that! This proves it!! And they call Trump racist, look at this!" These were the reactions the post was meant to get and I'm sure it did, here and elsewhere. The problem is that it was twisting his words and if you bothered to watch the video, he's not racist whatsoever there, actually the opposite.

Just yesterday, LC posted a meme with a quote from Oman saying she wanted to put all white men in chains. It was immediately debunked, she never said that. It's good that got debunked here locally but it didn't get corrected everywhere. That's the problem, people are gullible and now many of them will attribute that quote to her. Then when the squad or Oman is brought up, they'll boo or turn toward their spouse, children, friend, whoever and repeat that quote. And then those people will pass it down as well. Again, she didn't say it.

The left does this as well, of course. I don't think they do it nearly as much as the right but they certainly still do it. MTG, Gaetz, and of course Trump himself are easy targets. I can tell you that every single day they get him. Just yesterday, Jack Smith signed something and they put Trump in cuffs and hauled him off to jail. They did it again today and they'll do it again tomorrow. It's this constant stream of BS that has gotten so tiresome. Trump is the absolute worst in this regard. It's also very disappointing that our general populace can be so easily manipulated and gullible.
