Not in the US.   CNN’s first article for example was on January 6th 2020, the Wuhan market didn’t even close until January 1, and on January 5th China was claiming there had only been 59 cases (obviously a lie).

And again, that was a real pandemic as much as you idiots want to deny it.  That’s the reason it resulted in a lot of mail in ballots 10 months later.

Most of the patients in the outbreak of severe lung illnesses linked to vaping — which has left 1,479 people sick and 33 dead so far — vaped THC, the ingredient in marijuana that makes people high. Until more information is known, officials at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have warned people not to vape cannabis products.

That article is paywalled but I googled “lung illness linked to vaping” and there are articles from as early as September 6, 2019.  If you’re trying to say those were Covid you’re more dumb than I thought.

lots of old people die of pneumonia all the time, maybe very few people visited old folks homes while sick

regardless, its magic that the whole vaping illness disappeared when covid became the mainstream, or I will give you this, maybe they just wanted the extra deaths added to covid

So a surgeon who's using a robot who's not near the patient doesn't wear a mask in the operating room then?

That's weird, every time I've been in an operating room everyone in the room had masks on and scrubbed their hands.  There's a drape between the patient and the Anesthesiologist, why does the Anesthesiologist need to wear a mask still?

It seems like you guys can save the medical industry tons of money if you'd spread your knowledge of how masks are only need against body fluid splashes.

While masks were worn by the general public before Covid-19, it was not as widespread as you think. Reuters Beijing Bureau Chief, Ryan Woo, has lived in China for 4 years. He said that while some people chose to wear masks before COVID-19, this was mostly during winter when colds were common or if pollution levels were high.

Why do Asians wear masks during flu season?  Is the RSV virus bigger than the covid virus so that mask are effective against every flu like virus except covid?
