PWHL - Professional Women's Hockey League

Recommended Posts

The league no one on earth wanted or asked for, but we got it anyway.

Talk about doubling down on stupid WNBA (which no one watches)

Are any of em hot? I find women who play in rec hockey leagues can sometimes be surprisingly attractive, once you get all the pads off em

I heard commentators in a men's basketball game talking about Caitlin Clark.   I guess she's some hot shot chick college bball player.  They said she stayed in college because she can earn more with her NIL deals than the WNBA.  Last time I remember hearing, and it was early in the WNBA's existence, those chicks made like 100k a year.  Let's assume it's 200k now, maybe it's a bit more, I dunno.  But Clark is making millions via NIL deals.  No reason for her to leave early.

She can definitely play and is exciting to watch for sure...

Clark is the first Division-I player in history to record 3,000+ points, 900+ assists, and 800+ rebounds in a career.

Not surprising you like manly women.  Why don't you just come out of the closet already?  Everyone already knows you're ghey.  :dunno:

All 6 teams are in Canada or frozen US areas.  Makes sense.  I see no problems with it.  If the product is good, they'll be supported.

Fast Pitch Softball has a league with 4 teams.  I know a guy who's partnering up with someone who's buying a new team as the league's expanding from 4 to 6 teams next year.  Good for them.  Again, if the product is good, people will support it.  Have at it.

Yep.  100%.

If they get good enough maybe they could subsidize a men's league too.

I actually watched about 27 seconds of the Minnesota-Boston game last night.

I was out to dinner in the bar area and it was on TV. Many jokes and laughs were had. It was good for comedic value anyway

When do they start complaining they want to be paid the same as the men?

The game was played at the Tsongas in Lowell. My sons used to play there once in awhile for youth hockey. I think there were more fans at my sons' games.

Eh.  They should just go straight to a Lingerie league.  That might garner some actual interest.
