Your statement is not backed up by any news source that I have read. I have seen Cassidy Hutchinson give numerous interviews in recent months. Not once did I hear her complain that her testimony was edited or that it actually exonerated Trump. If that had been the case I would think she would have said something. 
 

In any case Donald Trump is about to be tried in a court of law for his actions on January 6. A jury will listen to the facts and decide for themselves whether or not he committed wrongdoing. Personally I think they will find him guilty of a felony or two, and I offered to wager you on this point which you refused despite your assertion to the contrary. But I guess we’ll find out.

She did not complain because she agreed to the alterations.    Behind closed doors her sworn testimony was completely different.  Here is the sheet she filed to correct the changes from the original testimony four-months prior to her public hearing.  Errata Sheets are used to correct errors and typos in the transcript, this one is 15-pages of completely differemt testimony which contradicts everything she testified to later.  Legally the Democrats were required to keep the tape of her interviews, but the Dems destroyed the tapes.   Some believe the reason for the changes is because she did not get the job she wanted from Trump.   Bit either way, she lied under shown Oath either behind close doors or the testimony she gave four months later.   The changes to the official record covers up that fact to strengthen the Democrsts narrative.

Crockett’s facts are correct, which is my point. We can disagree on how to react to those facts. But I would add that many Republicans in the Senate are in favor of this compromise on the border. House Republicans are opposed to any kind of compromise (as are some leftists as well, to be fair.)

There is also the suspicion that House Republicans don’t want any kind of deal on this issue because keeping the border in a crisis benefits Trump, and them, in the fall. I think that’s a reasonable assumption. Biden on the other hand would like this issue off his plate as much as possible, therefore he’s willing to make concessions now that he would never make after being re-elected, at the risk of alienating part of his base.
