My belief is that whoever shifts to the next generation first will dominate the election.  Dems, maybe Hakeem Jeffries, Republicans maybe Ron DeSantis.  The horror of the current choice is begining to take hold, even to thos acolutes on both sides of the coin.

I don't know why anyone would bet against Biden winning the Democratic nomination.  That's a lock.

However I'm not sure he will beat Trump and I am pretty sure if he does, he will step down and Kamala will be President

FWIW I don’t think Trump has dementia either. I’d rather he did; he’d be less dangerous. The Haley Pelosi think was weird but Trump has to give a lot of speeches so I don’t really care. Trump is crazy but his age isn’t the reason. 
 

Back to Biden: so the day after Israel gets attacked he is interviewed and he can’t remember who put what in which box 6 years earlier, and this makes him an old man with memory issues?? The Dems don't need Biden.  They will rally around any candidate with equal fervor.  By ditching Biden they can ditch the baggage of the last four years and move on into the future with a new generation of forward looking leadership, or some such crap.  This is a Hakeem Jeffries moment.  Maybe paired with Katie Hobbs or Gretchen Wittmer for their governing experience.  maybe even the lesbian from Mass, whatshernameandpronouns. 

 

Biden brings only negatives.  Still not too late to move on and pragmatists will prevail.  Last night we saw the long knives drawn from their scabbards.

4-1 odds for the nominee is a good bet against Tim..  It's ~ -200.  Tim is right, the Hur report is overblown, Biden has only dropped about 6% in the betting odds.  But Tim can't do math, so he's giving up twice what he should.

Even odds to win is dumb on both sides.  You can get plus money on both guys right now.
