As a GM you absolutely listen to all offers, especially when you have the top pick. I don't want to trade Fields but if a team is willing to give me a 1st round pick or more then that's hard to pass up. You cannot be a serious GM if you operate like that at QB. "Hey we have this dude, we wouldnt mind trading him. But if we dont get what we want thrn hey lets just roll with him. Who cares he has a contract coming up. What other teams do or dont do will dictate who we want as out QB!" Do you realize how much of an amateur hour that would be? Those would probably be the positions addressed with the last pick of the first and an early pick they would get for Sneed. Their defense is already looking extremely locked and loaded, even without Sneed. Then they'll probably still add a free agent receiver. Hollywood, Ridley, or Curtis Samuel seems to be what's best of the rest. Meh on Samuel, so that's probably what will happen. Someone else who will be interesting to watch is Mike Williams who the Chargers will likely release tomorrow. I doubt the Chiefs payroll could afford him, but who knows.
