That's true, but just allowing them to install a biometric ID system is asking for China style government interference into our lives. It's going to be much worse than what's going on now.

You may think, that's Canada, that's not us. It's all connected. The US is one of the top dogs when it comes to the WEF, UN etc.

This entire illegal border crossing thing is being allowed on purpose to push for this digital ID. They propose that this biometric marker will stop the criminals from entering! Until you become a criminal in their eyes

The answer is so simple. Stop letting them in. That's the most reasonable solution, yet people like Trump act like the real solution is digital ID.

I didn't realize the government runs TMobile. I figured they would have to provide legal reasons to look into my records and use them for any reason.

No one here thinks that we aren't tracked, but also thinking that it's already over so we might as well let them take it as far as they want is going to lead to major problems for citizens. Take a look at China and their social credit score. People denied from entering cities and buildings. People denied from leaving their own building. That's what this is all about

Ironically, just last week I got my first ever hate speech warning. Watched a YouTube video showing a bunch of Latino women fighting in a restaurant right around bar closing time.

My comment seemed tame: Latino's = too frigging macho!

Less than a minute later, a pop-up appeared saying I was guilty of hate speech, & if the pattern continued, I'd be banned from YouTube.

(YouTube is wholly owned by Google)

This is just the beginning. Canada has a law in the works that will allow someone to be sentenced for life in prison for hate speech. It's not just a Canada thing. This is happening everywhere.

It seems to me people are complacent when it comes to issues like this. Could it ever happen here ?...... probably not, but never say never.

Here's a case I remember hearing about in the early 2000s. Sure, denying the holocaust is, for lack of a better word, pretty ignorant, but should he be imprisoned for that ? 

If we imprisoned/incarcerated every person in the US that did, or said something stupid, 70% of the population would be behind bars.

Isn't this just facial recognition software being used on international flights now in some airports?  Granted, such a database will be dangerous and the feds will abuse it.  But if it is really just used at entry and exit points, it is not really tracking us.....yet.
