Late Sunday, investigators continued their search for the suspect, looking for clues that could give them a lead on a motive for the shooting.

As a liberal I believe that poverty and lack of education leads to crime and violence. African Americans in Chicago need better economic opportunity, and hope, and better chances at education. They also need better family life (that’s one area in which conservatives are right about): two parent households.

Depends on the number you’re comparing it to, which you did not specify, dumbass. Claiming anyone concerns themselves with individual iterations of homicide when assessing the problem of homicide as an issue, is nonsense and you know it. Violent crime is down in Chicago.

Some people just aren't cut out to be parents, I agree , but you cannot ignore that rate. It is the lack of fathers in the home in the black community that is the biggest problem.  Of course, that goes to your point of it being a culture issue.

It all boils down to a string of decisions.  And yes, the decisions of adults impact the outcomes of the children around them.   No one would be permanently poor if they simply made better decisions....

Ive brought it up a few times.  No real responses.  Im just trying to understand the logic that flip flops.  Probably because the Libs who shout poverty leads to crime have no real idea how to spin it.
