Well, to be fair, when she was asked briefly about the economy, she said that prices are high, and things cost more, and those things that cost more are costing people more money. And when she "gets in office", she will lower the prices of things that cost money, because that will cost the people less in what they have to spend each month due to the lower costs of things.

There is no magical formula to lowering inflation. Trump is offering one “drill drill drill” but almost all economists point out that this won’t make any difference at all. On the other hand, Trump’s tariffs will have the opposite effect of increasing prices on everything. Not to mention his catastrophic mass deportation proposal which would devastate our economy. Simply put, if Kamala Harris is elected and does absolutely nothing with regard to the economy and inflation, she would still be an improvement on Trump’s ideas. 
 

But she won’t do absolutely nothing because her plan, stated continually though not yet on her website, is to continue to rebuild and improve our infrastructure in order to grow the economy. (It would help if she also lowered our existing tariffs on China.)

Inflation occurs when you devalue the dollar, like say, printing trillions for things like the Inflation Increase Act.  Harris and Walz will continue such idiocies.

You may be happy to help but you’re not. The act you named had no effect on the worldwide inflation caused by Covid. It made things a little easier here for some people, that’s all. It didn’t create the inflation nor cure it.

So a little of my own analysis as I think both sides are making some mistakes: 

1. Kamala should ASAP give interviews, put a platform on her website, and agree to more debates. She’s giving Trump unnecessary ammunition IMO. She doesn’t have to be the most polished person out there so long as she remains likable. 
 

2. Trump’s task is easier: attack Kamala on two issues: inflation and the border. That’s it! Don’t bring up all the other crap! Don’t complain about the “coup” or last time or crowd size or whether she is black or Indian. Don’t waste time trying to call her a Communist. Don’t keep calling her stupid.  Inflation and the border. Those are her weaknesses. If Trump sticks to those two attacks, he has a very good shot of bringing down her poll numbers and still winning the election. But does he have the discipline to do this? He hasn’t shown it so far.

I agree with most of this.  The catch 22 for her, though, is that that efforts to publish her truthful platform and become more accessible, are the exact things that will plummet her likability.  She’s holding the reproductive rights card, that’s it.

The U.S. Secret Service is apologizing to a Massachusetts salon owner after an agent covered her security camera with duct tape and broke into her salon by picking the lock so that its bathroom could be used by various people for a two-hour period.

After the two-hour period, Secret Service agents left her salon unlocked and left the tape covering the camera.

The woman was told by others that the lead Secret Service agent was directing people to use her salon’s bathroom without authorization. 

The agents were in the neighborhood to secure the area ahead of a Kamala Harris fundraiser. The woman understood she needed to close her salon but didn’t expect the rest of what happened.

in 2016, Trump had no real qualifications. He wasn't a politician. But I am curious what Kamala's actual qualifications are. She failed when she tried to run on her own, right? Like failed miserably. So what she has is 4 years of association with the Biden administration. What did she accomplish in those 4 years? As someone who doesn't eat sleep and breathe politics, I know Joe Biden and can talk about his accomplishments and (mostly) failures but I really can't speak of or think of anything Kamala has to run on. 

Will she just point to everything Joe did as she was along for the ride? How will she spin it to make it seem like she had anything to do with the positives without making it seem like Joe wasn't really even running the show? How will she detach herself from the negatives?
