538 has em tied. Their simulations have Kamala winning a couple more times out of 100.

Fair.  They also have Trump ahead in more battleground states.  Let Tim know, would ya?

I like the confidence.  is that confidence going to carry you thru the next 4 years if Trump wins?

I don't want to see you burning down neighborhoods, looting businesses and the like that the left likes to do when they don't get their way.  Just want to be sure you're going to stay above the fray.

Enough Max. I’m a middle aged white woman, who lives in California, I’ll be fine.

It’s been said…but that Kamala is behind it with a tiny lead in these battleground polls is no bueno.

Sure they may have adjusted their methods of collecting info or whatever but this is bad news for the team blue tie.

Think of this like the 2012 election when Romney pulled ahead of Obama in Oct but lost in the end.

Perhaps. We have two elections with Orange Julius though and both times the polls were off a few points in the Dems favor.

I have a hard time believing he will win but it’s somehow close so who the hell knows.

Why wouldn't you compare it to the last two presidential elections when Trump faced off against women?

Think about it for a minute.  You had to go all the way back to 2012, when Trump wasn't even on the ballot, to get it to work out the way you want it.

And yet whenever I check 538 they seem to be missing some polls.  I wonder why..........

When did 538 stop including Rasmussen polls?

Why doesn't 538 include any PEW Research polls since September?

Rhetorical.

I'm in a potential swing district for the one Electoral vote up for grabs in Nebraska. The other 4 electoral votes in Nebraska will almost certainly go Red/Republican.

I was texted asking who I am voting for by https://www.publiuspolls.com/

The text started off with my first name

I think this may be an inside organization for internal polling.

Choices were.

A) Kamala

B ) Trump

C ) Not voting

D ) Other

At first I blocked and deleted, but they contacted me again a few days later from a different phone number also starting with my first name and saying they were Publius Polls.

I responded B

They haven't bothered me since.

I didn’t realize Georgia righties had been embarking on a voter suppression mission until John Oliver talked about it recently.  Looks like Trump will win Georgia after all.

Yeah but they’re losing almost all of these challenges. And early voting in Georgia is setting records. I think she’s got a good chance to win there.

Someone should tell Rob Manfred.  Remember when it was Jim Crow 2.0 and MLB moved the All Star Game?  They really showed them.  Cost that area and business there countless millions of dollars over that nonsense.

Because black voters there heroically overcame the new restrictions. That doesn’t justify the blatant racism that went into them.

Yeah, they made voting less restrictive than most blue states, go figure.  So they punish the businesses in Atlanta, many minority owned, as well as the franchise in MLB that's done probably the most to help the black community.  That was the most hypocritical political stunt I've seen them pull in awhile.  It was stupid, and it's proven out to be so in voting totals.  The numbers don't lie, they never do.  Hey, but it made them be able to virtue signal and that's really all they wanted.  Nothing changed, and the game is back, so it really shows what the truth was the entire time.

There was no virtue signaling. I feel like some of you guys will never understand that. Not every boycott works, not every boycott is wise. But the intent is usually pure. In this case the folks who did this really believed that the new law was designed to reduce black voting, and that it was racist in outcome and intent. I agree with that assessment. So MLB responded. Maybe it didn’t work out the way they hoped but the problem was very real.

Sure there was, from MLB 100%.  If someone didn't take the time to research what that organization had done for the community in Atlanta and realize how many minority owned businesses were hurt, to move to Denver of all places instead, well that's hard for me to view as pure.  The problem wasn't real, because if it were a problem it wouldn't be in the past tense, it would still be such an objectionable problem the game shouldn't be there.  The law is still the same and yet the game is back.  So either those wonderful pure hearted uninformed individuals were wrong from the start, or they are purely political beings and knew the whole time nothing was wrong and did it for political reasons.  Now, it can be either of the two, but it must be one of the two because nothing at all has changed.

I’m more concerned about the possibility that folks might think they’ll be ineligible (even if they’re really not) if they don’t show up to the hearing.
