Jocelyn Nungaray murder: Illegal immigrant suspects 'lured' Texas 12-year-old, 'tied her up,' prosecutors say

The two illegal immigrant suspects charged with strangling 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray to death this week had "lured" her under a bridge in Houston before tying her up and killing her, prosecutors allege in new court documents obtained by Fox News. 

Johan Jose Rangel Martinez, 21, and Franklin Jose Pena Ramos, 26, each face capital murder charges, and prosecutors are requesting that their bail be set at $1 million. 

"In this case the defendant lured a 12-year-old under a bridge, where he and his co-defendant remained with her for over 2 hours, took her pants off, tied her up, and killed her, then threw her body into the bayou," Harris County Assistant District Attorney Michael Abner wrote. 

On Thursday, Fox News reported that the two suspects from Venezuela had entered the U.S. illegally before being released from custody. An Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) spokesperson confirmed the news on Friday, saying in a statement that "Martinez and Pena both illegally entered the U.S. without inspection, parole or admission by a U.S. immigration officer on an unknown date and at an unknown location."

Tim will tell you they are a net economic benefit.  Of course his analysis of the net does not include a cost analysis of rape and murder.  It does not include a cost analysis of the reintroduction of deseases we have not seen in decades.  It does not include a cost analysis of uninsured motorists or of all our kids whose learning is slowed by our teachers having to spend inordinate amounts of time with kids who have not had a formal education and who don't speak the language.  Me, I don't think cheap drywallers and migrant farm workers are worth the cost, but Tim assures me they are a net benefit.    Why we could not get whatever benefit there is through legal immigration and seasonal worker visas he never says.

The White House and Biden campaign responded Friday to the death of a 12-year-old girl in Houston after two suspects charged with capital murder were found to be undocumented migrants.

Jocelyn Nungaray was discovered Monday in a shallow creek after being strangled to death, according to the Houston Police Department.

 

A White House spokesperson said “our hearts go out to the family and loved ones of Jocelyn Nungaray.”

I don't want to deflect because I agree with your stance on illegal immigrants.  I'm not trying to argue that.  I get upset with conservatives who are all fired up about something like this story but then are also 100% against a woman/girl's right to have an abortion.  If you believe a raped woman should be allowed to have an abortion then we are in agreement.  That's all.
