It was looking really good for you after the SotU address. I stood by you earlier, as you know, fiercely, and was somewhere in the frustrated/upset/disappointed state of mind when I saw Strike rule against you. But the bet was for Biden to be the nominee and a lot of people felt the moment we are in may arrive. Biden is getting pummeled by his party to prevent that from happening. if he drops out or if "they" pull some bullsh*t unethical convention shenanigans to give the nomination to someone else, you'll have lost the bet.

The specific thing was that if he wanted to pay me he should send it to a charity of his choice because I had no intention of collecting it, or any of the bets. Look it up if you don’t believe me. I also wrote that I didn’t really want anyone to pay until November, despite the fact that I had posted “pay up now”. It was more of a “just admit you were wrong” type of thing. 

Whatever. It was dumb of me to try and assume victory in those bets early anyhow. That’s obviously true in retrospect. I was also particularly a jerk in my posts to @Engorgeous George at the time and I apologized, which he accepted. At this point I will be happy to lose those wagers and pay everyone involved.

Apparently, Tim wanted EG to write a check to "charity" and put a memo on the check saying "for being a dumb ass."  @The Real timschochet, why would you want someone to put that on a check to "charity?"

Tim apolgized to me for his behavior relating to our bet back in the late winter.  I accepted his public apology as payment in full of the terms of our bet.  He and I have no wager moving forward as I meant it when I said his apology was payment in full.  As for the history of postings which lead to our resolution I will not join that discussion.  The matter has been put to bed.
