There’s no fuking way that you’ve ever accomplished anything in life based on cerebral accomplishment.  The above is 90% incorrect.  There’s absolutely  no disputing that his BAC was over the legal limit and he was nearly double the speed limit.  And please tell the details of how the judge chastised to cop during a plea deal.

Many years ago on a different forum I shared the very personal fact that my wife suffered from alcoholism and had entered a hospital for rehabilitation. It was a very painful time for me. I shared the information at the time because I wanted to see if other folks there had gone through what I had and had experience with Al-anon and Continuing Care. I did receive some helpful info and advice at the time. I had no political motive at all and I had no idea that people would, years later, choose to bring this up to attack me. 

I am very proud of my wife who is now many years sober. I remain, with my wife, heavily involved in AA and Al-anon. Some people here continue to bring this up as if it is some sort of slur against me. During that most painful time of my life, I also wrongly accused my wife of driving our children while intoxicated. That turned out to be completely false, she never did that. But the same folks who choose to bring this up in political threads sometimes bring that accusation up as well. 

Those who continue to bring this up as some sort of attack against me are scum, IMO. It’s up to you if you want to join their club.

Interesting,  he was deaf but he pulled over when the cop activated his siren.  He did not require an interpreter or audio assist devices in court, or if he did the article does not note that.  Also, I've been to Nebraska. the experience made me drink and want to speed out of the state.

That's so much of what this forum has become. We used to be able to share personal information, knowing and accepting the likelihood some light, good-natured ribbing would follow.

But these angry, hot-headed MAGAturds who take themselves so seriously can't help themselves with the mean-spiritedness against those who don't think exactly like they do, dredging up the same ol' tired, unfunny digs.
