Holy crap. :o

Sam Darnold to the rescue!!!  At least now he won't be looking over his shoulder after every play.

You called it a "sneaky pick" but then you come back as it's a given overmatch for all to see.

And what's up with you doing all this say hi garbage?

Say hi to rusty and indycoltsfan for me.

weird dude.

Meniscus is what? 8 weeks?  Probably out until at least week 4.  They have a bye week 5.  I guess they put him on the PUP list.

Darnold will be a good streamer, but inconsistent performer.

But seafoam what’s to see him rise.  Ewww.

If your league is starting 1 QB, Darnold will never be drafted.  If you're in a SuperFlex/2QB league, his ceiling is QB3.  I wouldn't even draft or roster him.

With Jefferson on the team , I would stream.

I watched darnold at SC.  He follows the same recipe.  When the games don't matter, he's decent.  The second there is pressure, he's good for three turnovers.

Or it may not matter.

Quote

The Vikings are having a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day.

Not long after announcing that rookie quarterback J.J. McCarthy will miss the season after undergoing knee surgery Wednesday, the Vikings have another injury concern.

Alec Lewis of TheAthletic.com reports that receiver Jordan Addison was carted off the practice field with an apparent leg injury. Addison was injured after leaping for a contested pass.

Might not be streaming Darnold

Do not want. It'd be the Sam Bradford trade all over again.

Accept the season is lost, and look for an early draft pick next year.

Carr to Minnesota ?  Doesn't make sense.  Vikings seemed content to start off bad with Darnold and that brutal schedule. Then hand the reins to McCarthy once the season was lost. So... now Carr since McCarthy is gone?  What happens after this year? Darnold is only on a one-year deal, but they'd be stuck paying Carr's ridiculous salary the next two years, and if cut after '25, they'd still have a $29 mil cap hit in '26.

I don't get this at all. :dunno:

With the Addison news, don’t think I’ll touch anyone on the Vikes.  Aaron Jones will see a stacked box, and JJ will get double coverage.

Trey Lance to the Vikes? He’s on the outs in Dallas.

What is the source of that? Because some fans didn't like his preseason debut?

There was some encouraging news after practice, though. Head coach Kevin O'Connell said Addison hurt his ankle, and while he won't practice Thursday, O'Connell does not believe the injury is serious.

Any opinion on how it might impact A. Jones?

A Jones is going to have a tough time finding a whole to run through, teams won’t be scared of Darnold early in the season.

Plus I don’t think Chandler is going to just be a bench warmer.
