I have to disagree with this.  I expect her to win the election and I am very annoyed that she’s deliberately avoiding speaking on her own behalf and being asked questions.  It should be a minimum expectation that she be confronted on record, issues and policy intentions.  The “campaign” she’s running is deceitful.  She’s practically invisible.

Traditionally every candidate does both. Biden is the only candidate I can think of that didn’t do press conferences. Do we really want another president who can’t handle a press conference?

I think the strategy is "Donald Trump puts himself out there SOOO MUCH and people hate it/him"    "Lets do the opposite."   So it's a good strategy for now.  We will see how long she keeps it up.

Then why is she adopting Trump’s policies as her own? No tax on tips, no Medicare for all, etc. The sad thing is when Trump proposed these policies, the left attacked him and the policies but now that Harris is pushing them they are great ideas.

Trump's playbook works for lots of voters (I don't know why) but why not try it if she's trying to work a few voters in the margins.
