JJ McCarthy out for the year. Have to think the Vikings will be looking to get another QB in there. I still have Jefferson on top 8.

Carson Wentz might be for sale.   They got any pass rush to part with?

My favorite football team the Kansas City Chiefs are going for their third straight Super Bowl win

Matt Milano torn biceps.  Big loss for the Bills. Feels like a down year for them.

The Giants blow, especially their QB.

Whoever posted that about the Giants should never be allowed to talk football ever again.

Redskins trade Jahan Dotson to the Eagles for some later round picks. Good depth for Philly.

I've seen the stat comparison between Daniel Jones and Eli Manning at the same point in their careers.  Jones has had the better start statistically.

Dotson is a great pickup for Philly as a third receiver. I wonder if the Commies are in on Aiyuk? Dealing a receiver doesn’t make a ton of sense given that they have a rookie QB.

Really? Eli played every game.  So I’d say that’s impossible.

This is the graphic I keep seeing.  I didn't double check to make sure it was accurate though.

3 playoff appearances and a SB ring. One playoff win. Case closed.

I get that but statistically, Jones isn't all that bad.

For a 5th its nice depth as looking at their WRs they were rather thin after the big 2.  But it isnt like Dotson was much.  Emphasized by the fact they traded him within the division.  I read a stat that of thr WRs who were targeted as much as Dotson, he was 49 out of 50 in yards per route ran.

But either way seems like they needed some bodies down the depth chart.  So I cant hate on sending a 5th rounder for him.

Dalvin Cook signs with the Cowboys.  Ooof.  I heard Frank Gore is available.

The Giants will eliminate themselves from the playoffs by the end of September. They will also win meaningless games at the end of the season, so that they will draft too far back to get a top tier player. I've been a fan since the 80's, so I know this for certain.

The national outlook on Minn is similar to this. I think we're in for a surprise and they compete for the playoffs, with a decent chance of making it. They'll surpass their 7 wins last year.

They should of blown it up this off-season. Instead they're hanging onto something but I'm not sure what.

They'll be in the same exact predicament next off-season. Jones will do just enough to bamboozle NY into a new contract, guaranteed.

And Daboll is an idiot.

Find that hard to believe with Sam Darnold.  They are clearly the least talented team in the division.  And depending on Caleb does in his rookie season they may have the worst QB in the division for this season.

I think they will be competitive.  They arent a doormat like the Patriots.   But find competing for a playoff spot to be rather tough in such a good division.

Sam Darnold has had some of the dumbest m -frs on earth coaching him until he got with Shanahan last year. I say he will come into his own.

Definitely won't be easy, and the division looks good at the moment. Remember that Darnold was a high first round pick with all the physical tools. He's just toiled away in some truly awful situations with coaches that are no longer employed. This is a good situation with a HC that seems to be very adept at handling QBs.

Last I heard, Darnold was +5000 to win MVP. If I was a gambler I'd put a few sheckles down on that long shot. Seems like a value to me.

I feel you.  And good that you have optimism.   But in these situations wouldnt GMs and coaches know this better than us?  Wouldnt they know who these guys have had to be coached by and if thats the issue?

Its like Fields.  Everyone blamed coaching for years and lack of a team. Yet no GM or coach really saw.this and went after him harder than thr Steelers had to?

Seems like if Darnold has it all and it was just bad coaching then the Vikings wouldnt of bothered using a 1st round pick on a QB?  And tried to ride Darnold for a couple years to see what hr has under "better coaching".

I liked Darnold coming out.  But I just cant chalk up every bad QB being a bust because of coaching.  Some have it worse than others but whats bust QBs just failed with "good coaching"?  Doesnt seem to happen all that often.  Sometimes a shamny will get a Trey Lance and he just isnt good.  But he was quite a projection from D2.

Aiyuk - 4 years for $120m and $76m guaranteed.

I don’t love paying that $ to a receiver who 1) isn’t SF’s best offensive player and 2) isn’t likely to see more than 110 or so targets.
