Springfield was a nice town. Crime has gotten a lot worse over the years.  Making it North Haiti is only going to worsen the situation.  Wittenberg University is there and was one of the best D3 campuses in the country.

I mean the data is the data and it really is just obvious, but...the whole point here was that pyschic observer wanted to rely on local police reports. He took a lot away from some pretty standard press commentary and discounted what people were saying, you know the standard "its not happening" move. 

Turns out it totally is happening, the same local police dept is in fact reporting data that it is happening. 

So if you would like to somehow theorize about the data and engage in discourse about the largest increase i can find in violent crime reporting over the course of two years, that happen to line up with the Biden admin and also line up with a known publicized massive influx of Haitans to the US and of course now we have an even more public personal accounts of things like pets getting killed, intimidation, property crimes, etc.

Then you will have to present some really solid reasoning and data as to why smaller influxes during periods of stricter immigration controls would lead to delayed massive spikes in crime after a sustained downtrend would be the cause rather than large groups arriving during periods of large national influxes(think 10k hatians under texas bridge news reports) under an obvious lax administration that cavalierly does things like blame its own agents for fake whipping scandals.

I look forward to all of the data you will present. Because thats how this works. You took your one shot at this without studying the data and were wrong. You dont get a second chance to be lazy and try and make somebody else do the work.

I’m not sure if you’re familiar with my work here, but I’d wager that I post the most data of anyone here, and I enjoy analyzing it.  I also plan to vote for Trump.

But I also think the fearmongering about the border is overblown, and the issues that are there are not completely Biden/Harris’s fault.   So considering people are blaming crime on “Biden/Harris’s open border,” yes I’d say it’s relevant when these alleged offenders entered the country.

Nonetheless, let’s have a look at the data you shared.  Thank you for doing that by the way, that’s more than most others do here.

“Violent crime” is broken down into 4 categories: Homicide, rape, robbery, and aggravated assault.  Here is the percent change vs 2020 for reports of each:

Homicide: -25% (8 to 6)

Rape: +12% (52 to 58)

Robbery: +27% (107 to 136)

If the remainder of the population is flat then that would mean the population has increased by 33%, higher than the rate of increase in those 3 types of crime, with homicides of course being down.

But wait, you said it was up 110%.  Oh yeah, forgot aggravated assault.  Those increased by 197% (171 to 507).  Wow, that’s quite the increase, I wonder if there’s something else going on there, maybe a change in how those are defined?  Well whaddaya know, there was:

(Police captain) Moos said that high percentage is not valid, “We have an uptick in violent crime, but that statistic Is directly related to the way data is collected with regard to aggravated assault.What happens is it looks at whether a weapon was just simple present, or someone was injured or both.”  In 2020, the city used a different data gathering system, under which aggravated assault meant a person was assaulted, a weapon was used, and the victim sustained an injury.

By law on the books they are illegal.  But if the executive branch is not going to prosecute them and give them some phony temporary legal status there are safe.  But that will change once the adults are back in charge.
