Well the Neo Nazis were in fact there.

And the second part was his opinion.

So not sure where you’re going with this.

I would guess there are a lot of problems for those residents. Shame we can't focus on the real ones because these fake ones get thrown out there

You're allowed to believe whatever you want, and I'm allowed to tell you you're dumb and laugh at you for doing so.

Another interview with the guy running for mayor that went viral for his speech at the town meeting.

He says some things that make some sense, but asks why we’re accepting people from Haiti when we need to fix our problems first. Like…getting free WiFi across the country.  Lol at comparing that to people fleeing from Haiti.

“If I have to create stories…”

We teach our children not to lie. It’s disgusting and vile that JD Vance thinks the ends justify the means.

And it’s amazing how neither Trump nor Vance can provide any of these “first-hand account” constituents who have any evidence.

Maybe because they don’t exist and it’s all been a lie.

We don't need immigrants.  We need to take care of our own first.  It's more than just "free wifi", but I realize you're just like a squirrel that moves onto each shiny object your DNC overlords point out to you.

Ohio Gov. DeWine on ABC says "absolutely not" when asked if he's seen any evidence of Haitian migrants eating pets and adds, "the Haitians who are in Springfield are legal. They came to Springfield to work. Ohio is on the move and Springfield has really made a great resurgence"

the mayor in springfield bought a bunch of rental properties in June of 2021 (and it appears maybe already owned some) Was even smart enough to buy a parking lot next to one of the multi family units so he could pack them in.

If you are unsure of the truth of this story that is only being spread around on twitter as far as i can see...Go to the clark county property search site

Search for LITTLETON PROPERTIES OF SPRINGFIELD LLC

Now complete a business search with the ohio business search site. for that llc and see who owns it.

We arent talking about 100 properties or anything here, but still a pretty decent portfolio for somebody that gains a ton from a big rent increase.

Oh the irony.  I’m one of the few here that truly “does my own research.” I doubt any “DNC overlords” have even seen that video.   I just think it was funny that the first problem he named that we need to fix before taking in immigrants is free WiFi.

You mean Republican mayor, Rob Rue?

Although what’s wrong with someone buying properties as long as it’s done legally?  Are you a communist?  I’d think a mayor investing his own money in his town would be a good thing.

Nonetheless, let’s have a look at these properties.

830 N Limestone St - this is a funeral home that is his family’s business, an 8600 square foot, 3.8 acre property assessed at almost $1.3 million dollars

814 N Limestone - adjacent to the funeral home

810 N Limestone, the parking lot, also adjacent to the funeral home

218-220 E Madison - also adjacent to the funeral home

822-824 Mason St - directly across the street from the funeral home

818-820 Mason St - directly across the street from the funeral home

828 Mason St - next to 818-820 & 822-824

So,  all of these properties are basically adjacent to each other.  Doing a quick search, I didn’t find anything saying they were ever publicly advertised for rent. If I had to guess, they’re either using them for short-term rentals for people attending funerals, or looking at expanding the funeral home, or if you want to think more sinister, planning to bulldoze the other homes for some sort of development.

If he is renting them out, I can’t imagine he’d want there to be overflowing trash cans or people throwing mattresses on the yard.

Is your theory that he is “packing them in” directly across from his family business and million-plus dollar property?  If so, they must really be great tenants!

Also, the funeral home is called “Littleton and Rue,” so buying the properties under the name Littleton isn’t exactly sneaky.

When Trump is cashing in on his hotels as Prez and charging out the asss to have SS stay at his properties it’s called being smart.

We've never excluded people from failed states. Ever.

For most of our history, we have excluded people from most everywhere except select western European WASP countries.  As a Polish/Italian/Slovakian Catholic, I'm glad the policy changed in the early 1900s so that my ancestors could get here (they subsequently stopped letting them in until the Immigration Act of 1965).  But the fact remains that it is a myth that we've always let in anyone who wanted to enter.

Quote
AI Overview

The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965, also known as the Hart-Celler Act, was a landmark law that changed the way the United States admitted immigrants:
- Abolished quotas: The act removed the quotas set in place by the Immigration Act of 1924.
- Established a preference system: The act gave preference to immigrants based on their skills and family ties to U.S. citizens and residents.
- Ended discrimination: The act eliminated de facto discrimination against people from Southern and Eastern Europe, Asia, and other non-Western and Northern European ethnicities.
- Opened the door to non-European immigration: The act allowed immigrants from outside of Europe to enter the United States.
- Changed the racial and ethnic makeup of the U.S.: The act dramatically changed the racial and ethnic makeup of the U.S..
- Led to a rise in illegal immigration: The act inadvertently laid the foundation for the rise in illegal immigration in the 1970s.
President Lyndon B. Johnson signed the act into law on October 3, 1965.

The "preference to family ties", along with the abolition of quotas, has been significantly exploited by immigrants from our south.  Canada, which is what many Lefties here aspire to, is much more selective in their immigration, focusing on skills and contribution to their economy.

Also, welcome back.

I used to think you just had bad opinions, but now I realize that you are one fuking stupid lemming that apparently is also racist. We actually DO need immigrants, bigoted parrot. You have the cojones unmitigated ignorant gall to tell others to think for themselves when you don't even have the capacity.

Not that you'll look or care, but:

Immigrants are now twice as likely to start a new business as native-born Americans

New data shows why the U.S. needs more immigrants

Benefits of Immigration Outweigh the Costs

The Contributions of Immigrants Are Essential to U.S. Economic Growth and Competitiveness

Immigrants Contribute Greatly to U.S. Economy

Immigration Benefits All Americans and Strengthens the Economy

Hey strawman!

Way to make something up and argue against that!   Besides, the Democrats haven't ever been interested in "taking care of our own" since the Truman presidency so you can get rtf out of here with that nonsense.  The Democrats are more interested in illegal immigrants than they are of actual US Citizens.  It's not even debatable.

I mean, the proof is in the pudding - prices are damn near 50% higher than they were under Trump, but Kamala is going to fix it if you elect her!  Of course, that's despite her already being in office for the last 4 years when the prices skyrocketed on everything, but just trust her - she promises.

Yeah, a lot of these people in some of these recent interviews don’t seem like they really want to work, but they’re mad that Haitians are getting government assistance they think should be going to them instead.

Here’s @RaiderHaters Revenge other boy interviewing one of the guys that was in Springfield interviewing people.  I also watched several others of this Hansen guy’s videos (never heard of him before this weekend, he seems to at least leans right IMO).  I was a little annoyed that he brought food to some single mom seemingly without proving she wasn’t on drugs (she also says she’s only been in Springfield since January, so she can’t really complain about the Haitians coming after she was already there).   Feel horrible for the little girl but she probably should be taken from the mother unfortunately.

As I said from the start, the biggest legitimate complaint is car accidents.   Although speaking of cars, I thought it was interesting how Hansen says he took 4 Lyft rides and they were all Haitians.   More evidence that they want to work.

Something which IMO is really crazy from a purely political strategy standpoint: Springfield OH is Republican run, with a Republican mayor, and ordinarily it would be featured by an Ohio Senator and a GOP presidential nominee as a Republican success story. The town was with its revamped economy and university an example of what small town America could be. It's bizarre that the GOP has completely rejected that whole line of argument. The Republican officials in Springfield are so upset by the tact that some have stated they will not be voting for Trump at this point.

It's the power that Trump has over these people. He says it and instead of them rebuking him or even fact checking him....they double down and follow him off the cliff.  I'd imagine if these Haitians were Europeans....people like Hardcore and the others in the MAGA Brain Trust would be more accepting.
