lod001 1,344 Posted September 9, 2024 Yep. Watson is 100% garbage. Always was. Completely clueless out there. I bet they wish they were not so stupid in the FO and kept Baker Mayfield who is laughing at them. A close 2nd is the Panthers giving up their franchise's future for Brick Young. Yea but the panthers have always been shitt and that is something easy to get out of. Another terrible year and treat him like Josh Rosen. Just cut bait and move on and draft a qb high again. The browns gave up 3 firsts and 250 million to a QB that can not play QB.

Tree of Knowledge 1,699 Posted September 9, 2024 Browns would have eventually made it to the Superbowl with Baker and that defense. The two diva WRs they had sure didn’t help Mayfield either.

Making a trade and getting the number overall pick out of it is a pretty solid deal. It has the possibility of being one of the best trades if they can win a SB with Williams. The Hershel trade resulted in 3 first round and 3 second round picks which were used to get Emmitt Smith, Russel Maryland and Darren Woodson. And 3 super bowls. The Bears aren't sniffing that. patweisers44 815 Posted September 9, 2024 Maybe not at the level of herschel or deshaun debacles, but the lions traded draft picks, one of which became willie roaf, for pat swilling, trying to jam a 3-4 square peg of a LB into a 4-3 round hole defense.
